Bethesda announces the Dishonored 2 Collector’s Edition which includes a replica of Corvo’s famous mask, a replica of Emily Kaldwin’s ring and other collectibles.

In Dishonored 2, fans have a lot to look forward to. With Emily Kaldwin as a playable character, players have access to a new variety of supernatural powers and with the game whisking them away from dreary Dunwall to the sunny locale of Karnaca, players already have a good many reasons to get it. However, it seems that Bethesda is now intent on sweetening the pot for those who can’t wait for the next installment in Arkane’s stealth series, as the company has now announced the Dishonored 2 Collector’s Edition.

During Bethesda’s E3 2016 press conference, the company’s VP of marketing Pete Hines took to the stage to reveal a Dishonored 2 Collector’s Edition that includes several goodies of interest to die-hard fans. It it includes a propaganda poster celebrating Delilah Kaldwin, a replica of Corvo’s famous mask (along with a stand to put it on), a replica of Emily’s ring (which viewers can see her putting on in the Dishonored 2 gameplay trailer) and a collectible ‘legacy’ metal case that features the portraits of both Emily and Corvo. According to a listing on the official Bethesda store, the package will set buyers back buy $100.

Moreover, the Dishonored 2 Collector’s Edition also includes the Digital Imperial Assassin’s Pack, which comes with exclusive bone charms (e.g Duelist’s Luck and Void Favor), 500 coins to spend in-game and new lore and art (e.g the Antique Serkonan Guitar and the book Goodbye, Karnaca – A Musician’s Farewell) as well as a copy of Dishonored: Definitive Edition. This isn’t the only way players can bag themselves a free copy of Dishonored: Definitive Edition, it should be pointed out, as Bethesda also says that “for a limited time,” pre-ordering Dishonored 2 from “participating retailers” will also entitle people for the freebie.

However, while Dishonored 2’s Collector’s Edition certainly sounds like an alluring purchase, Hines did warn that supplies for this edition of the game are limited. The Bethesda executive noted that as people witnessed last year with Fallout 4’s Pip-Boy Edition, “they go out quickly,” meaning that it’s probably better to place an order for it sooner rather than later. It’s also worth noting that prices for the Pip-Boy Edition began to exceed $600 thanks to resellers looking to make a profit, which again, some may see that as a sound reason to buy Dishonored 2 Collector’s Edition quickly.

Dishonored 2 is set to release on November 11, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
