Digimon Survive players who are looking for a powerful Digimon with an affinity for Ice attacks could do a whole lot worse than Ikkakumon. The Sea Animal Digimon boasts impressively high Special stats when compared to a lot of its peers and has an attractive evolution path available to it, making it a solid addition to most teams.
Unfortunately, Digimon Survive players will need to wait a little while before being able to befriend Ikkakumon, with the Champion level Digimon not showing up until the seventh part of the game. They'll also need to figure out the best responses to Ikkakumon's questions and statements, some of which can be a little difficult to predict.
How to Befriend Ikkakumon in Digimon Survive
In order to befriend Ikkakumon, players will first have to start a conversation with it by selecting the Talk option while in battle. They'll then need to answer three of its questions, with the way that they respond to each one either filling or emptying the bar above its head. If players choose the best possible response to a question or statement, two segments of the bar will be filled, with three or more needed by the end of the conversation for a chance to ask the Digimon to become friends.
Ikkakumon responds best to players who empathize with it. Showing that they have similar opinions is therefore a great way for players to fill the bar above its head, as too is showering it with compliments. That's not to say that they should roll over completely though, with Ikkakumon also respecting those with confidence in their abilities. Where to Find Ikkakumon in Digimon Survive
Most players will first encounter Ikkakumon in a shadow battle while exploring the factory in Part 7, with the rest running into it in Free Battles later on in the game. With this in mind, it's one of the rarer Champion Digimon in Digimon Survive, so players should try to make a point of befriending it if they get the chance. They'll also be able to get some All Purpose Ointment from it by asking it for an item, which can come in pretty handy in certain battles.
