The pre-order window for the latest Digivice game based on the recently rebooted Digimon Adventure anime has run into some issues, so Bandai has decided to delay it, sort of like the Digimon Adventure: reboot itself. However, unlike the anime, the Digivice will only be held off for three weeks instead of indefinitely.

The Digivice's Premium Bandai standby page posted an update for it earlier this week. Withthewill.net — a Digimon dedicated community site — then translated the page and posted the information onto their Twitter account.

Anyone interested in the Digivice will no longer be able to pre-order it until June 26. The original window that it had was June 2. Luckily, this delay isn't a long one, at least not compared to Digimon Adventure:'s hiatus.

Why the suspension happened in the first place wasn't specified. The only explanation that Premium Bandai provided was, "due to various circumstances." Considering the current state of the world, one can make a fairly educated guess as to what that means.

For those interested in the Digivice, but unsure of what exactly it does: it's a small game that allows players to battle Digimon, primarily with the ones used by the show's DigiDestined, so like Tai's Greymon, or Kairi's Angewomon. It cost 8800 yen or 81.66 USD, so it's mostly a collector's item. Once it's pre-ordered, it won't ship until November of this year.

Digimon Adventure: is on indefinite hiatus.
