Diablo Immortal is adding a new game mode giving players a new way to get more rewards in their adventures. Developers announced season 13's battle pass, balance changes, a new limited-time event, and more, giving players a hint on what's to come soon in Diablo Immortal.

Diablo Immortal launched on mobile devices in 2022, and since then, many Diablo fans have experienced all the fun and chaos the franchise is known for on their handheld devices. Diablo Immortal's launch was everything but perfect, as many players complained about the game's pay-to-win tactics that even affected PvP game modes. Diablo Immortal's microtransaction controversy got a lot of attention from gamers worldwide, but that did not stop the game from gathering thousands of players and benefiting from its aggressive microtransaction practices.

The official Diablo Immortal Twitter profile shared information about Diablo Immortal's new season, new rewards, changes, and a new game mode allowing players to experience the game differently. According to the official blog post, Helliquary Gauntlet is a new mode unlocked when players defeat Catarag, the Strangling Sun, on Hell Difficulty VIII. In the Helliquary Gauntlet game mode, players will go through each Helliquary boss in succession as fast as they can. The new game mode features a leaderboard granting the top ten players the Voidwound Gauntlet Champion Avatar Frame by the end of the week, to use during the Helliquary Gauntlet season. If players stay in a top ten spot when the season ends, they will keep their avatar frame forever. Players should look into Diablo Immortal tips if they want to get to the top of the leaderboard and earn the exclusive frame a few players will have.

The developers also shared some updates to another game mode. According to the blog post, Helliquary Raids was updated, and when players die more than once during a raid, resurrecting them will cause an increasing cooldown; Helliquary bosses will periodically emit a damaging pulse that scales its damage after each use. This will happen when Helliquary bosses are enraged. The developers have kept working on the game despite the controversy, and recently, they released another update for Diablo Immortal adding new mechanics and more.

This Diablo Immortal update also implemented a new limited-time event called the Fractured Plane. This limited-time event features a 15-floor gauntlet with fierce minions and a set of pre-selected skills, so players will not be able to use the gear, gems, and skills they are used to in other game modes. The game's developers did not implement any bug fixes to the game, so players experiencing bugs in Diablo Immortal will have to face them a bit more.

Diablo Immortal is available now on Android, iOS, and PC.
