Taking on Captain Hagan will be one of the first memorable boss fights in all of Diablo Immortal for many players. He's a boss that likely takes the assistance of others to bring down. He's also a quest reward, yielding an immediate chest with tons of good loots, especially for the level of players likely to contact him.
Many others, however, will miss him entirely. Frantically checking Diablo Immortal's Codex, they'll remind themselves that they've completed all of their quests, how did they miss him? There's a simple explanation. Grab some gear, head to the nearest waypoint, and get ready for a server-wide brawl.
Where To Find The Special Event
To await Captain Hagan's arrival, head to the Mad King's Breach Waypoint in the Ashwold Cemetary, on the north side of the Ashwold Manor. The location doesn't require knowing how to auto-navigate, the spawn point is at the bottom of the steps after exiting the waypoint.
This event is a limited time and, unfortunately, there is a rather long respawn period in between his appearances. The area here has plenty of worms, hounds, and guards to polish off while waiting for Captain Hagan, it's a great way to farm monstrous essence.
Officer Hagan's Moves
Officer Hagan is a shieldbearer, the same unit as some of the other guards here in the area. He attacks with his sword and will rear back to charge forward with his shield. But pay special attention to when he raises his sword hand in the air, that means he's casting.
His casts will change as any other epic boss has random moves. Sometimes he'll cast stone walls and fireballs from the sky, other times he will summon electric orbs and shield himself. Stay mobile and feel free to ask for help from anyone in the area; odds are, they'll be happy to get this boss done for the loot and the Codex entry. He's doable by either the easiest class to use or the toughest one, especially with a party.
This is a world boss, so feel free to join in on someone else's fight, there will be loot and credit for everyone!
