In the original Diablo, there was the main quest and then a small handful of side quests. That's not how it is with the series nowadays. Over the successive Diablo titles, side quests have become a larger and larger part of the game. Diablo Immortal has so many side quests that it's hard to keep track of them all.

Not only does Diablo Immortal have a plethora of side quests, but a sizable number of them are a lot more hidden than others. There are also a ton of side quests that only become available after reaching Paragon status and gaining access to the Hell difficulty setting. On Hell difficulty, side quests can be obtained from Taite in Westmarch. None of the side quests are technically hidden as they are displayed on the mini map in blue; however, some are definitely more awesome than others.

10 The Knowledge Eaters

Knowledge Eaters Side Quests in Diablo Immortal

Located in the Library of Zoltun Kulle, this side quest is started by talking to the Stelliform Sentry standing near some bookcases. What makes this quest so incredible? Well, for starters, it's over very quickly thanks to the events of the quest being located within the same general area. This quest generally gives some decent loot as well.

"The Knowledge Eaters" involves inspecting a bookcase and then defeating the bugs that attack. After that, the player will need to activate the Archive's defenses by interacting with the bundle in front of the same bookcase. Then there are two fights, one involving golems. After this, players need to speak with the Stelliform Sentry again to complete the quest and receive the reward.

This is an odd side quest that begins by speaking to a man named Mervain in Bilefen; specifically the northwestern portion of Crimsonblade Haven. Mervain tells the player to stay away from the auction happening nearby, and that there is an odd necklace being sold off.

When the Diablo Immortal player arrives at the auction, the proceedings are interrupted by an attack that they must deal with. During the fray, a group of fetishes steal the necklace and take it back to their hideout; which is to the east of the auction. The player must go into this hideout and destroy the necklace.

Ambush Side Quest in Diablo Immortal

This is about as hidden as side quests get in Diablo Immortal. There are no warnings that "Ambush" is about to be triggered, and it can happen on every zone in the game. This quest begins when a group of enemies suddenly appear around the player and immediately attack.

The type of enemy is determined by the map the player is on, and these ambush groups will contain elite enemies. The goal is to defeat the enemies attempting to ambush the player. The quest list on the left side of the screen will inform the player which enemies need to be killed to complete the quest.

Start this quest by speaking to one of the guards at the south-west entrance to the Sentinel's Watch waypoint in the Mount Zavain zone. This guard (Terell) asks the player if they've seen one of his fellow guards named Ryston. The player must go look for Ryston, but he's actually pretty close to Sentinel's Watch – head west, towards the yellow circle that appears on the mini map.

Ryston will mention that he needs better food than what he's being given, and asks the player to get him some Varanid haunches. Once these are obtained and given to Ryston, he will start a fire with which to cook the haunches. Unfortunately for him, a large Gorejaw Varanid appears and swallows Ryston whole. The player must kill the Gorejaw and return Ryston's Service Badge to Terell to collect the reward.

Some players might notice a purple skull appear on their mini map from time to time. These are wanted boss creatures. This is classified as a side quest despite it being a random event that can happen in any zone. However, these wanted bosses are always in the same locations within a zone.

These purple glowing bosses are about as difficult as the gold glowing bosses; they always have minions with them as well. In theory, this quest is easy to complete, although picking certain Diablo Immortal classes will make it simpler. All the player has to do is hunt down and defeat this boss to collect the reward.

4 Restless Battle

Restless Battle Side Quest in Diablo Immortal

This side quest can be found in the Ancient Graveyard area of the Frozen Tundra zone. The Ancient Graveyard is not an area traveled by many players.
