In Diablo 4, players have several stats they will need to keep track of. There are a total of four core stats in the game as well as a plethora of minor stats. In order to get the most out of each class, players will want to keep tabs on all of these, making sure that they are leveling and looking for Altars of Lilith to help raise each one. However, it could be useful for players of Diablo 4 to know a little bit more about each stat and what they bring to the table.

Core Stats in Diablo 4

The most important stats in Diablo 4 are Strength, Intelligence, Willpower, and Dexterity. To check these stats, players just need to head to their character screen. There will be the stat number and the additional points players are earning from any items.

Strength Stat

For each additional stat point in strength, players will earn a +1 to their Armor.

Dex Stat

Dexterity gives an additional chance to a player's dodge chance. Players earn an additional +0.025% Dodge Chance per point.

Intelligence Stat

The Intelligence stat in Diablo 4 is tied to a player's Resist. They will get an additional +0.05% to All Resistances per point in this category.

Willpower Stat

The last stat is Willpower. Each point in this stat gives +0.1% Healing Received, and +0.25% Overpower Damage.

Starting Stats for Each Class in Diablo 4

  • Diablo 4 Barbarians begin with 10 Strength, 8 Dexterity, 7 Intelligence, and 7 Willpower.
  • Diablo 4 Rogues begin with 10 Dexterity, 8 Willpower, 7 Strength, and 7 Intelligence.
  • Sorcerers begin with 10 Intelligence, 8 Willpower, 7 Strength, and 7 Dexterity.
  • Druids begin with 10 Willpower, 8 Intelligence, 7 Strength, and 7 Dexterity.
  • Necromancers begin with 10 Intelligence, 8 Willpower, 7 Strength, and 7 Dexterity.

Players can earn additional points in each stat by:

  • Leveling: Each level gives players +1 to these four Core stats.
  • Altars of Lilith have the ability to give players +2 to any one stat; this is an account-wide buff.
  • Items like armor and jewelry can add to these stats as well.

Other Non-Core Stats in Diablo 4

There are a variety of other non-Core stats in Diablo 4. These usually come from items like weapons, amulets, and armor. There are tons of these non-Core stats, and players can earn a vast selection of them throughout this highly-anticipated game of 2023. Here are a handful of these stats:
