Diablo 4 officially launches for consoles and PC in early June. With only a couple of weeks left for Blizzard to prepare for release, the company is underway a two-week beta test period for the multiplayer-focused action RPG, allowing interested gamers to try out a slice of the experience.

Last weekend, the closed beta kicked off, with was only available to certain people, like those who put down more cash for a higher-priced edition of Diablo 4 and folks who participated in KFCs recent promotion. But now, from March 24 until March 27, the open beta will be live, and it's pretty much a free, easy download for PC and console players. But that also means that more people will be online simultaneously, which can lead to outages, bugs, errors, and long queue times.

What Does 'Queued for Login' Mean?

When Diablo 4 beta players download the application and then start it, they will more than likely be greeted with a message on-screen that says 'Queued for login,' with a timer attached to it. This essentially means that there are too many players at the moment, and Blizzard is holding you back from getting in until the servers become a little less congested. With so many more players during this open beta period this weekend, Diablo 4 fans should expect some hefty wait times, especially during peak hours, especially on Saturday (March 25) and Sunday.

The only thing that people can really do is wait until the timer gets to zero. However, some players have reported getting timed out after waiting for a while, only to wait in line again. Some people have also restarted the beta to find that their queue timer has decreased, but it can also backfire, alternatively leading to even longer waiting times. So be careful with trying out the rebooting option.

Diablo 4 launches officially on June 6, 2023, for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
