Blizzard revealed the exact times that Diablo 4 fans can preload the game on June 1 and 2. Diablo 4 launches a few days later, so players will have plenty of time to preload the game on PC or console.

Releasing on June 5 in North and South America and June 6 in the rest of the world, Diablo 4 picks up after the events of Diablo 3's Reaper of Souls expansion. Diablo 4 sees the demoness Lilith return from her banishment to conquer the world she once helped to create, and players are the only ones who can save the realm of Sanctuary from demonic invasion. However, despite depicting an epic struggle between heroes and demons, creative director Sebastian Stepien said Diablo 4 tells a more "grounded" story about Sanctuary's regular inhabitants.
