Diablo 4 players hoping to reach the max level cap of 100 in Blizzard's new action-RPG may have to spend over 150 hours playing the game. Diablo 4 has been hotly anticipated for years now, and the game's release date is finally just around the corner. This means that Diablo fans will soon be able to start playing the game for themselves and try to get their characters all the way to the max level of 100.

Diablo 4 has five classes for players to choose from at launch, with each character capable of hitting level 100. There are rumors that Diablo 4 could add a sixth class at some point after launch, though nothing official to that effect has actually been announced at the time of this writing.

Diablo 4 players who want to max out all five classes should be kept plenty busy while they wait for information on the potential sixth class at least. Blizzard's Joseph Piepiora recently confirmed on Twitter that it will take the average player over 150 hours to hit Diablo 4's max level of 100. This means that getting to max level with all five classes in Diablo 4 should take over 750 hours.

Blizzard developers have been revealing all kinds of interesting information about Diablo 4 on Twitter lately. Just recently, some fresh details were confirmed about the Diablo 4 PvP experience when playing on Hardcore difficulty. It was revealed that Diablo 4 PvP deaths on hardcore are just as permanent as deaths against AI-controlled enemies, which should make the game's PvP mode extremely intense, to say the least.

The Hardcore PvP experience in Diablo 4 will have to wait until the game's launch in June, but fans don't have to wait quite that long to jump back into Sanctuary. As luck would have it, Blizzard is hosting another Diablo 4 beta event ahead of its release date, giving fans the option to check out the action-RPG again between May 12 and May 14. There are special prizes waiting for Diablo 4 fans to collect by participating in the beta. Diablo 4 beta tests that manage to hit level 20 and defeat Ashava can get their hands on the Cry of Ashava mount trophy, while the Wolf Pack is available to anyone who hits level 20. Those that decide to skip out should rest easy knowing that the long wait for the game's full launch is nearly at an end.

Diablo 4 launches June 6 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
