Fans of Blizzard's classic Diablo 3 were very excited when it was announced that Diablo 3 will be joining the growing catalog Nintendo Switch ports. Recently the release date for Diablo 3 on the Switch console was revealed to be November 2 of this year, and today, Nintendo America revealed in a tweet that fans will be also able to get their hands on a special Nintendo Switch Diablo 3 bundle on the day of release.

The tweet reveals that the Nintendo Switch Diablo 3 Eternal Collection bundle will be coming to GameStop stores, and that it will go for a pricy $359.99. The short clip in the tweet shows off the Diablo 3 themed Nintendo Switch console, dock, and carrying case. The Diablo 3 themed console comes only in grey, and it features a Diablo graphic on the back of the console, as well as two graphics on the dock. The red and black carrying case also features an image of Diablo on the front.

Of course, the bundle also includes the download codes for all the Diablo 3 content released to date. This includes the base game, and the two expansions for the game, namely Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer. From the video, it also appears that owners of this bundle will gain an exclusive in-game Ganondorf armor set.

For fans of Diablo that do not own a Nintendo Switch console yet and would like to play Diablo 3 with other Switch owners, this bundle may be a good opportunity to get hold of a Nintendo Switch console. There have been rumors that Diablo 3 might be considered for cross-play on other platforms, but these rumors have largely been denied by Blizzard. So for now, one can unfortunately not enjoy this critically acclaimed game with friends on different consoles.

Diablo 3 is available now for Mac, PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. A Nintendo Switch version launches on November 2, 2018.
