There is a reason video games don't let tanks have extreme damage and mobility. By letting a class specialize in everything, they have no effective weaknesses and game designers are well aware that this can effectively "break" the game. Apparently, nobody got this memo about the Javazon in Diablo 2: Resurrected.
The Amazon is already a gifted class in Diablo 2: Resurrected, with lots of passives and a good mix of magic and physical damage for late-game enemies that have immunities and resistances. With a javelin in her hand and the right build guide, the Amazon becomes a beast on an unprecedented level.
Updated on November 15th, 2021 by Hodey Johns: No build has managed to top this one when it comes to a Javelin-wielding powerhouse in the game. The Amazon benefits from having three extremely distinct skill trees and knowing which skills make the biggest difference for the build is huge for making the character work. However, part of the success of the build is living to see it and players can easily spend much of the game getting killing repeatedly by monsters. To help with this, a section has been added at the end that helps players survive for the early and mid-game stages with this build.

The Amazon has some of the best endgame skills for any class, so it's best to put them to good use. By getting one point into everything in the Passive & Magic Skills tree, players will get access to lots of benefits. After that, all five of the lightning javelin skills boost each other, so get as many points into those five as possible.

Getting 156 strength allows the Amazon to equip the Monarch shield, which acts as the base for the Spirit Runeword. Having enough dexterity to hit a 75% block chance is important for a class that frequently finds itself in melee range. The Amazon's moves will use mana, but between the potions and the equipment, there should be plenty for any fight, so don't feel obligated to put any points into energy. After that, plugging everything else into vitality completes the Javazon's tankiness.

Don't be surprised to see some of the best Runewords available on this list. The Titan's Revenge weapon increases all Amazon skills by two and replenishes automatically, which is convenient for how the attack speed of this build will be rapidly turning enemies into living lightning rods. Getting to 75% magic resistance is important, so get as many Shimmering Small Charms needed until hitting that mark. After that, it's all about damage.

Squeezing the mercenary for every possible advantage is vital to success and the Amazon can get an extra perk out of the usual class builds that use the Act 2 Desert Mercenary. The Infinity weapon has Conviction Aura that reduces elemental defenses, enabling the Amazon to smoke opponents with her lightning-imbued javelins. The Defense Desert Mercenary has a second aura that slows and freezes enemies, making it a cinch to line them up for the Javazon's piercing throws.
Leveling With The Build
Players who want to take on the game's toughest bosses will have to do so well before they can hope to have all of their equipment and skills maxed out. They'll likely have to face each one multiple times before even coming close to finishing off the build. For gamers who are trying to make the Javazon work from start to finish, it's important to prioritize the correct skills and stats.
Skill Order
Start by getting three points each into Power Strike, Lightning Bolt, Charged Strike, Lightning Strike, and Lightning Fury. Though it can be tempting to max these skills out first, there is a reason for next acquiring a single point in each of the other skills as they provide solid passive bonuses.
Valkyrie, especially, is a lifesaver and acts as a tank and distraction for the remainder of the game. After that, distribute the points in the main five skills evenly until max level. It might feel more natural to max out one skill and then the next, but this creates problems when enemies have a specific immunity.
Stat Priorities
Stat distribution is simple. Invest points evenly in strength, dexterity, and vitality until strength is 156 and block chance hits 75%. After this, put all the rest of the points in each level into vitality. This amount of life will help execute the pro tips required to master the endgame.
For equipment, it's always critical to get each resistance to 75% as soon as possible and keep it there. The high strength allows players to wear heavy armor, but the magic and elemental resistance are critical to longevity in a battle. Lastly, any piece that boosts Javelin And Spear skills or all Amazon skills will work nicely until getting to the late game equipment.
