Devil May Cry made quite the comeback last year with the release of Devil May Cry 5. The game practically revived the Devil May Cry franchise in its entirety and introduced a cacophony of new players to the series. Now, fans of the series will know how to make Dante's favorite food from scratch.

Over the last couple of weeks, the Japanese PlayStation Twitter page has been releasing recipes based on food that's featured in various games. This includes Leblanc Curry from Persona 5 and the sweet rice balls from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. As of today, Dante's favorite pizza layout has now been added to PlayStation's culinary repertoire.

PlayStation's Japanese Twitter page posted a one-minute video showing users how to make Dante's favorite pizza. It includes play-by-play instructions by Dante's Japanese voice actor, as well as some battle shouts while the person in the video is punching and kneading the dough. Sadly, the video is entirely in Japanese, but luckily, it was translated into English over on Siliconera.

Fans typically enjoy seeing food created from memorable video games. While pizza with pepperoni and jalapenos is a pretty basic recipe, it represents Dante's character quite a bit. Although, arguably, food recipes from Skyrim or Breath of the Wild sound much more extravagant and enticing.

It will be interesting to see if PlayStation continues to produce recipes from other PlayStation titles. There aren't too many Sony characters that possess iconic foods to accompany their even more iconic characters. Though, it would be amazing if a roasted snake recipe based on Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

For right now, the future of the Devil May Cry series is uncertain. While Devil May Cry 6 has been rumored to be in production, nothing has been officially confirmed by Capcom. Admittedly, given the successful track record Capcom has had for the last several years in terms of reviving its older franchises such as Resident Evil, there are likely plenty of fans that would like to see the series continue.

Devil May Cry is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
