After the Devil May Cry 5 reveal at E3 this year, fans of the series have been eagerly awaiting more details about the next installment. In August, it was revealed that the sequel will have a dedicated panel at PAX West 2018, which is currently taking place in Seattle until the end of this weekend. At PAX West yesterday, the game's director, Hideaki Itsuno, and producers, Michiteru Okabe and Matthew Walker, have revealed more about the upcoming game, including details on Nero's Devil Breaker weapons.

In Devil May Cry 5, one of the two demon-slaying brothers, Nero, will be able to choose between eight Devil Breaker weapons. At the Devil May Cry 5 PAX West panel, the developers showed off seven of the eight weapons in a new gameplay video. The seven Devil Breakers are called Gerbera, Helter Skelter, Overture, Punch Line, Ragtime, Rawhide, and Tomboy.

For those unaware, The Devil Breaker is a tool that is attached to Nero's arm that he can use to bring demons closer to him and then attack them at close range, among other things. The video below gives a breakdown of the Devil Breakers that Nero can use in Devil May Cry 5 and their various functions.

As can be seen in the video, each Devil Breaker is different, and can be equipped according to the situation that Nero is in or according to the gamer's preferred playing style. Some of the Devil Breakers have rather strange functions, such as the Punch Line that turns into a rocket and allows Nero to ride it like a skateboard. Other functions of the Devil Breakers include stopping time, drilling through enemies, and whipping enemies.

Other details about Devil May Cry 5 revealed at the PAX West panel include the confirmation of a photo mode, training mode, and galleries. The game's release date was also recently been confirmed, so as we get closer to that release date, we look forward to finding out more about the game in the near future.

Devil May Cry 5 is scheduled to release on March 8, 2019, for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
