About a couple of weeks ago, the Japanese video game publisher and developer Capcom decided to provide Devil May Cry 5 fans with a better idea as to when they would be able to experience the action-adventure game's free addition of the Bloody Palace as DLC. That day has finally arrived, with April 1, 2019 officially marking the moment as to when DMC5 players can finally walk through the game mode's now-opened doors.

For the uninitiated, the Bloody Palace is a 101-floor combat challenge designed to stress test players' skills and see how proficient they are with Devil May Cry 5's combat system. Capcom has included it in the franchise ever since its addition in DMC2, and its arrival to the latest numbered entry in the series will likely please most of the more hardcore fans within the IP's audience and give everyone a hearty challenge after having completed Devil May Cry 5's story campaign.

Those who decide to take on waves of enemies within Devil May Cry 5's Bloody Palace DLC can do so with any of the hack-and-slash title's playable protagonists. This means that one can pick their preferred choice of Devil May Cry 5's Dante, Nero, or V to take on the task of laying waste to enemies and improving their efficacy with each of the characters' unique move sets.

As of now, it's still somewhat unclear as to whether or not Capcom will be providing Devil May Cry 5 with any more additional content after today's update that includes the free Bloody Palace DLC. The game's director Hideaki Itsuno has previously stated that if enough players desire it, then Capcom could add more playable characters as DLC for Devil May Cry 5. However, it has yet to be officially determined as to whether or not that is going to be a part of the publisher and developer's post-launch plans for the title moving forward.

At any rate, it's safe to presume that most, if not all Devil May Cry 5 fans would welcome even more add-ons in the future should they be provided by Capcom at no additional cost. Until that possibly occurs, though, players at least have the Bloody Palace to keep them busy for a while.

Devil May Cry 5 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
