It's taken a while, but God of War has finally been ousted from its position at the top of the UK sales charts, which it held for five weeks in a row. Now topping the charts is Quantic Dream's Detroit: Become Human, another PlayStation exclusive title.

It will be interesting to see how long Detroit: Become Human can keep the top spot, and if it can match the resilience of its predecessor. The game edges just ahead of Xbox One's State of Decay 2 (No.2) and Dark Souls Remastered (No.3).

Those curious where other games have placed can check out the top 10 below. Or, one can head over to UKIE for the full sales chart.

It is not terribly surprising Detroit: Become Human has shot to the top of the UK charts, considering it is enjoying very good reviews from the gaming community and critics alike. While it certainly has its flaws, and is somewhat more of an interactive movie than an actual game like the Quantic Dream titles that came before, it is a fun ride for those who like a great story. Those interested in a more in-depth analysis can check out our review of Detroit: Become Human, which earned a respectable 4/5 score.

Anyone looking to give the latest Quantic Dream game a spin, will be pleased to know the story has three times the branching paths as Heavy Rain. Like other games from the studio, it is meant to be played through multiple times. Because of this, how long it takes to complete Detroit: Become Human varies. Rushing through can take anywhere from eight to ten hours, while going back to play through every possible outcome can take around 40 hours to complete.

Detroit: Become Human is out now, exclusively for PlayStation 4.
