Multiplayer vehicle-fighting game Destruction AllStars was announced for PS5 during the console's big reveal event. It wasn't the only vehicle-related game to be announced for the console as Polyphony Digital also revealed Gran Turismo 7 for PS5.

In Destruction AllStars, players will take on the role of colorful characters who compete against each other in teams, as they try to smash each other to pieces. Gameplay seems to be a mix of character versus character battles and cars crashing into each other as players could land a flying kick from a distance or just rev their engines to fight the old fashioned way. It's unclear how characters end up out of their vehicles and what they have to do to get back into a car, but the wildness of it all makes this one of the weirdest games coming to PS5.

Destruction AllStars could potentially do well on the console as it has been compared to two other huge, multiplayer titles. Some are saying that it looks like Overwatch and Rocket League put together. Blizzard Entertainment hasn't confirmed that Overwatch 2 will be released on next-generation consoles and it's unclear if Rocket League will also be making the jump, so this could find itself being successful.

It's unclear when developer Lucid Games, which also developed the car combat game Switchblade, will be releasing Destruction AllStars. It was one of several PS5 games at the event, such as Horizon: Forbidden West, that didn't get a release date.

Destruction AllStars is in development for PS5.
