Fortnite has had a weird battle going on in the background. For players that have been paying attention to this strange side story, doing challenges like the No Right to Bear Arms challenge from April, they know that they gnomes and teddy bears have been locked in an epic battle for Holly Hedges. For this week, players will have to help the gnomes again destroy some teddy bears.
The Holly Hedges Battles
This background battle started with the Ted Offensive Challenge back at the beginning of April 2020, called For the Bears. Players had to collect honey for the bears. Then players helped gnomes with Telescopes around the area to spy on the bears. Over the weeks, players have had to help both sides of the gnome-and-bear battle, and this week is no exception.
These secret challenges that have going on in Holly Hedges include disarming the two sides to help prevent all out gnomey, beary war. It's certainly a strange battle going on.
Location Domination
These gnome and bear challenges this month will collectively be called "Location Domination," and there will be a total of 10 challenges for it. There will be a lot of XP on the line for these, so players should get on these secret challenges and make sure they are all complete. Although this week in Fortnite will be a busy one, it's worth it to take a few minutes out of the day to get these done.
In order to complete this week's teddy bear destruction, they will have to have completed the previous challenge to destroy gnomes first.
Teddy Bear Locations
While this map should help players find the locations, they'll probably want more explicit locations, since many of the teddies are hidden in homes or behind objects. Here's the map:
In Fortnite's Holly Hedges, there is a blue house to the northwest of the town. There is one teddy bear behind the house by the tent. The second bear is also nearby; look for a large tree and the teddy should be on the ground. The third teddy bear in inside that same blue house, on the stairs to the second floor. The fourth bear is on the striped couch in the blue house's living room area.
There are two more bears by the Garden Centre. One is by the registers, and one next to the metal shelving.
In the southeastern part of Holly Hedges, players should look for a grey house; there is one teddy bear on the second floor in the bedroom, next to the bed. Also in the southeast is a green house that will also have two more bears. The upstairs bedroom will have one by the bed, and the attic has another by the telescope. Once players have them all, they will grab that extra XP. If players still need some additional XP, they can start on the Overtime Challenges too.
