Destroy All Humans! is one of the classic Xbox and PS2 platformers. One year ago, a remastered version of the game was released. Fans of the series were able to revisit the story with updated graphics, animations, and audio. Because the original titles were released on Xbox and PS2, there were no console achievements to unlock.
The updated version of the game has a host of new challenges for gamers to complete. For those that like achievements/trophies, the new version of the game is a welcome sight. One of the first challenges people can complete is called "Pyrokinesis". This short guide will cover how to get the trophy quickly.
Get The Pyrokinesis Trophy Fast
The requirements for the challenge are quite simple. On the first map in the game, players will need to shoot one of the haystacks with the disintegrator ray. Next, take the burning haystack and chuck it at a human. This will be one of the easiest achievements of all time.
First, fast travel to Turnipseed Farm. To the right, there will be a small hut with two farmers. Just past that hut is a haybale. Use the disintegrator ray to set it on fire. In the menu, the disintegrator ray is on the right side, denoted by a flaming skull. The only step remaining is to use telekinesis to drop the bale on top of one of the farmers. It seems a bit odd to start reigning terror on innocent people ten seconds into the game, but this is Destroy All Humans.
Other Miscellaneous Trophies In Destroy All Humans
There are a couple of other miscellaneous challenges gamers will want to complete during their first playthrough. These are "Hop the Hoop" and "Do Feed the Sharks". Both of the challenges are in Santa Modesta. For Hop the Hoop, players will want to head northeast after they spawn in. Up the street there will be a large donut on top of the donut shop. Fly through the donut to get the trophy. It might not unlock if the character touches the donut, so people may need a few attempts to do it successfully.
The final miscellaneous trophy is unlocked on the beach in Santa Modesta. On the beach next to the lifeguard shack, there is a warning sign with a shark symbol on it. Grab one of the poor beachgoers and throw them into the water to get the achievement. The general area where the NPC is thrown does not matter. As long as the player is near the sign, the trophy will unlock.
