With the game's release date inching ever closer, Destroy All Humans! is already managing to turn a lot of heads with its excess of fun and chaotic trailers. From first looks at iconic levels such as Area 42, Santa Modesta, and Turnipseed Farm to highlighting Crypto's explosive weaponry, it seems THQ Nordic is enjoying showing fans how authentically they've recreated one of the PlayStation 2's most seminal classics.

In addition to these incredible teasers, Destroy All Humans! has just shown off a brand new look at one of the biggest aspects of the new title, with Crypto's Psychokinesis ability taking center stage. The trailer itself shows off just how much destruction fans can achieve using the powerful ability, as the chaotic alien picks up vehicles, explosives, and even people before launching them through the air at breakneck speeds.

The trailer itself covers several different elements of the environment Crypto can interact with using his psychokinesis abilities, as he levitates objects and flings them for devastating results. It's also shown that these projectiles can leave damaging area of effect attacks, with Crypto firing acid barrels at enemies, launching explosive canisters at vehicles, and snatching projectiles out of the air before sending them soaring back at opponents. Of course, as fans of the series know, Crypto can upgrade this ability to carry heavier objects, with the trailer also showing that the small alien can eventually hurl military tanks at his opponents.

All in all, it's yet another fantastic look at how much devastation players will be able to cause when they get their hands on Destroy All Humans! later this month. As for the game itself, it seems the remake will be one of the most comprehensive yet, with THQ Nordic even claiming it'll boast a longer runtime than its predecessor. Alongside that, it seems the game will feature more of the solid humor that made the franchise such a classic, with every new slice of gameplay highlighting that the series' tongue in cheek charm hasn't been lost in the shuffle.

Of course, Destroy All Humans! won't be the last remake to drop this year. September will see the long-awaited reimagining of the original Mafia game make its long-awaited debut, while Vicarious Visions will be trying to reinvigorate the Tony Hawk series by releasing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2It has definitely been a fantastic year for video game remakes, and hopefully, Destroy All Humans! adds to that sentiment.

Destroy All Humans! will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on July 28.
