Destroy All Humans! is a fan favorite title from console generations past that allowed players to wield incredible powers and wreak alien havoc on unsuspecting civilians. The game was released in June of 2005 on the Playstation 2 and original Xbox, with a sequel released in 2006. The game was also remade recently in 2020, with a switch port coming in June.
Like many games from that time, Destroy All Humans! had a slew of cheat codes that players could use to enhance their wacky alien experience. These cheat codes range from maxing out the alert meter to making the player invincible. There are 8 cheat codes in the game, each with its own unique button pattern.
Ammo-A-Plenty
As the name implies, this cheat gives Crypto unlimited ammo in all weapons. The code on Playstation is Left D-Pad, Circle, R2, Right D-Pad, R1, Square, and can be used from any location.
Unlimited ammo in the Disintegrator Ray leads to absolute mayhem for anything that poses a threat to Crypto, not to mention the vast amount of other weapons in the alien's arsenal.
Aware Like A Fox
Destroy All Humans! operates on an alert system that dictates how much attention is drawn to Crypto. It begins with police officers and ends with high-powered military units. This cheat allows the player to jump straight into the action with the most chaos possible.
The code on Playstation to max out the alert level is Right, Square, R2, R1, Right, R2, and can be entered in from any location.
Bulletproof Crypto
This cheat code essentially activates god mode and sends Crypto into an unkillable state. The player becomes impervious to enemy attacks, allowing for mass destruction without dying.
To activate Bulletproof Crypto on Playstation, enter Square, Circle, Left D-pad, Left D-Pad, Circle, and Square at any location in the game. Pairing this cheat with Ammo-A-Plenty makes for unrivaled chaos, even in the remake.
Deep Thinker
Crypto has many mental abilities, including psycho-kinesis, hypnotize, and transmogrify. These powerful abilities allow Crypto to manipulate the world around him and its people, to sometimes hilarious results. The player can even cause civilians to forget all the carnage they just witnessed with the ability Free Love.
This cheat gives the player unlimited access to these useful mind powers and is performed by pressing R1, R2, Circle, Right D-pad, R2, and Circle from any location.
Purchasable Upgrades
This cheat makes every upgrade in the game purchasable, allowing the player to quickly ramp up in power. Upgraded mind and weapon abilities allow Crypto to unleash powers far beyond his means.
This cheat is activated with the code O, Square, Left, Left, O, Square, and can be used from anywhere in the game. All of these abilities being purchasable puts the player on a fast track to unleashing armageddon.
Mmmm Brains!
This cheat provides Crypto with useful DNA that he uses to obtain upgrades. Normally, Crypto would have to extract the brains of humans to harvest DNA. This cheat is unique in that it is one of two cheats that must be performed from the mothership.
Naturally, this cheat pairs well with the Purchasable Upgrades cheat, and can be manipulated to raise Crypto to maximum strength. The code for this cheat is R1, R1, R2, R2, Left, Right, Left, Right, R2, R1.
More Upgrades
This cheat funnels even more upgrades into the game and allows Crypto to reach heights that he may have never thought possible. By increasing the number of upgrades, the player gains access to a vast amount of new skills, both mental and weapon-based.
The code for all of these extra upgrades is actually the same as the Bulletproof cheat, but can only be performed from the mothership.
Nobody Loves You
This cheat might be the most useful out of the bunch, as it doesn't completely break the game. The Nobody Loves You cheat is used to completely clear the alert meter and get all attention off of Crypto. This cheat is best for keeping the player alive when they have bitten off more than they can chew.
The code is R2, Right, R2, R1, Square, Right, and can be done from anywhere in the game. This cheat should always be kept in Crypto's back pocket for the sake of his own survival.
