We have the early scoop on where to find the vendor Xur and what exotic armor and weapons he has available to Destiny players for the weekend of October 21st.

By now most Destiny players are likely focused on the Heroic Mode version of the Wrath of the Machine raid and little else. Since the raid's launch on Tuesday, Destiny fireteams have already found ways to speed through the endgame encounter and are in the process collecting some sweet raid loot.

However, while the release of the Heroic Mode raid is typically an end point for the Destiny expansion launch cycle it doesn’t mean things are over. Xur is still going to make his weekly visits, Destiny is set to launch its Halloween-themed Festival of the Lost event, and before the year is up there should be another Sparrow Racing League. The “main” things in Destiny might all be available, but there is always going to be another carrot on the stick…at least for a while.

On the gear front, that carrot on the stick is collecting all of the exotic armor pieces and weapon ornaments. So far Xur has sold plenty of the new Rise of Iron exotic armor pieces and weapons, but he has yet to sell all of them. Last week, however, major headway was made when Xur sold an exotic engram that wasn’t a Legacy version, offering players their first chance at new loot via a purchaseable engram.

For this week, Xur is holed up in the southern part of the Tower, in an area called the nightclub. Head to the right after spawning into The Tower, follow the path through the Hangar and past the Dead Orbit representative, and continue until you reach the very back of the room with two couches. Xur should be hanging out there.

Xur's armor this week includes the Immolation Fists gauntlets for Titans, the Skyburners Annex helmet for Hunters, and The Stag helmet for Warlocks. Not a great selection of exotic armor, but if you need any of these pieces to complete the collection go ahead.

Hawkmoon is Xur's exotic weapon for the weekend - a fine choice of hand cannon capable of dealing out major damage in PvP. Granted, the gun is not as good as it used to be after more than a few nerfs, but it still gets the job done otherwise.

For a full rundown of Xur’s items and prices see the list below:

  • Immolation Fists (Titan Gauntlets) – 13 Strange Coins
