Destiny: Xur Location and Exotic Items for November 14-16

Destiny Xur Sale November 14

Finding Xur shouldn't be too hard for the average Destiny player; he's in front of the big door opposite the Speaker's quarters. Some will also recognize this as one of Xur's very first locations, well before most of us ever could procure any of the vendor's exotic wares.

Speaking of those exotics, Xur has, for the first time, put The Last Word hand cannon on sale for all to buy. This hand cannon is of particular interest, not just because it's a deadly exotic primary but also because of its high rate of fire.

Where most hand cannons are focused on single shots with high impact, The Last Word can fire at full-auto and directly from the hip. Think of it like a gunslinger's pistol a la Red Dead Redemption.

On the armor front, it's another disappointing week of repeats from Xur. With only a handful of exotics to run through between helmet and chest pieces it seems that those who were holding out hope for something new are going to be disappointed.

For a full rundown of Xur's items and prices see the list below:

  • The Armamentarium (Titan Chest Armor) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Crest of Alpha Lupi (Hunter Chest Armor) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Voidfang Vestments (Warlock Chest Armor) – 13 Strange Coins
  • The Last Word (Hand Cannon) – 23 Strange Coins
  • Exotic Helm Engram – 23 Motes of Light

After seeing the same few weapons rotate week after week, it's a relief to finally see Xur show up with something new. For a while there it seemed that, like with armor, Xur had run out of new items, but The Last Word has rejuvenated our hope in the Agent of the Nine. After a certain point, Xur becomes the highlight of the week for the average Destiny player, right there with running the Vault of Glass and doing the Nightfall Strike.

Now that Xur has delivered an awesome gun like this we can't wait to see what's next. And if he is to return next week with old items, at least make them extremely useful ones like the Gjallarhorn or Icebreaker.

What do you think of Xur's selection this week? What do you hope he will offer in a future sale?
