We have the early scoop on where to find the vendor Xur and what exotic armor and weapons he has available to Destiny players for the weekend of March 25th.

This week was a big one for Destiny fans, especially those who enjoy recycled content! In all seriousness, Bungie’s first Twitch stream focused on the April update offered plenty of reasons for fans to be excited, if only because there is a new light level increase and “new” activities to complete.

As some predicted, Destiny’s April Update will include, among other things, a revamped version of the Prison of Elders complete with a new scoring system. Hit two different score thresholds within the week, and players will earn an armor piece and a weapon, which can be as high as light level 335.

Additionally, the April Update will also add a few new quests to the mix, as well as a new Strike. That new Strike will see players facing off against Malok, a Taken entity that has assumed power in Oryx’s absence.

Next week, Bungie will delve deeper into the new gear in the April Update – what exactly players will be chasing on the road to light level 335. Look for that next Wednesday at 11am PT.

In the mean time, Xur is back in the Tower with a new set of exotic wares for the weekend. He too is hoping that the April Update will boost the exotic loot table, hopefully giving players more reasons to keep coming back each weekend. As it stands stands right now, most players have no reason to visit Xur.

Destiny Xur Inventory March 25

This week, Destiny players can find Xur in the hangar section of the Tower, right next to the docking bay entrance for ships. Once you spawn into the Tower, head to the right and follow the path until you reach the hangar, from there Xur should be on the right hand side.

For armor, Xur has the Empyrean Bellicose helmet for Titans, the Crest of Alpha Lupi chest piece for hunters, and the Alchemist’s Raiment chest piece for Warlocks. Crest of Alpha Lupi is always a solid choice for the quick revive ability, especially those players who run Trials of Osiris.

Xur’s exotic weapon this weekend is the Invective shotgun. At one point the Invective was an exotic bounty weapon, but it has since been added to the regular rotation after Taken King launched. Shotgunners tend to prefer the Invective for its replenishing ammo perk, especially now that special ammo is only available via ammo boxes in certain PvP modes.

For a full rundown of Xur’s items and prices see the list below:

  • Empyrean Bellicose (Titan Helmet) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Crest of Alpha Lupi (Hunter Chest Armor) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Alchemist's Raiment (Warlock Chest Piece) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Invective – 17 Strange Coins
  • Legacy Primary Weapon Engram – 31 Strange Coins
  • Three of Coins – 7 Strange Coins

Destiny: The Taken King is out now for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
