We have the early scoop on where to find the vendor Xur and what exotic armor and weapons he has available to Destiny players for the weekend of March 11th.

It's been an interesting week for Destiny - one in which the title watched as its biggest competitor, Tom Clancy's The Division, launched to record-breaking numbers. While the gameplay in the two games may be markedly different from one another, there are still some inherent similarities. Most of all, the fan base of one game is more than willing to jump to the other during this dry spell.

Even so, there is the assumption that many Destiny fans will return to the game. What will draw them back is unclear, but most figure new content - story missions, raids, strikes, gear, etc. - will likely do the trick.

Another factor that might see Destiny players turn, albeit for a brief spell, is Xur's exotic inventory, which rotates week-to-week. There are likely still some exotic weapons and armor piece son players' wish lists, and if/when Xur sells those items we'd bet a few players will come back. And so, without further ado, we bring this week's Xur report.

This week, players can find Xur in the southern most part of the Tower, in an area commonly referred to as the night club. Simply head to the right after spawning in the Tower, follow the pathway until you can no longer, and Xur should be tucked in the left hand corner. If you hear music playing then you are in the right place.

For armor, this week Xur has the An Insurmountable Skullfort helmet for Titans, the Achlyophage Symbiote helmet for Hunters, and the Heart of Praxic Fire chest piece for Warlocks. Both the Hunter and the Warlock pieces are solid exotic options for their respective classes, particularly for those players who enjoy PvP in The Crucible. Gunslingers get an extra shot of their Golden Gun with their helmet on and Sunsinger Warlocks get a huge decrease in cooldown time while Radiance is active.

This week Xur does not have an exotic weapon for sale, but instead has an exotic Year 2 engram. Players hoping to nab one of the many exotic helmets in Destiny are in luck, as the helmet engram is on the menu. Looking for The Ram or Graviton Forfeit for PvP? Try your luck with the engram and hopefully it decrypts into a 310 version!
