We have the early scoop on where to find the vendor Xur and what exotic armor and weapons he has available to Destiny players for the weekend of June 3rd.

Although this week wasn’t supposed to be anything special in the world of Destiny, developer Bungie dropped a bomb early Thursday afternoon. While most had assumed any major expansion reveals would come at E3, likely during Sony’s Pre-E3 2016 Press Conference, Bungie proved those assumptions wrong.

On June 9th, the developer will take to Twitch once again to reveal what the “next adventure” in the world of Destiny will be. It’s unclear how extensive the unveiling may be, but there was the promise of a Q&A session with devs, suggesting that a lot of questions will be answered.

With the Rise of Iron expansion leak already two weeks old, it seems Bungie has decided to build as much buzz as early as it can. Destiny players have been dying to hear more about the future of their favorite game, and most importantly they want to know what substantial content is in the pipeline. And in just a week’s time, those fans will soon have a better idea.

Alongside the announcement of a Destiny reveal, Thursday also sees the return of Xur, the exotic vendor. Well, technically Xur shows up on Friday morning, but most stay up to see what the exotic merchant has for sale and where he is located.

This week, players can find Xur in the Tower, on the balcony next to the Speaker. Head to the left after spawning into the Tower, follow the pathway down the long hall with stairs, enter the big open area, and Xur should be all the way in the back.

For armor this week, Xur has the ACD/0 Feedback Fence gauntlets for Titans, the Graviton Forfeit helmet for Hunters, and the Alchemist’s Raiment chest piece for Warlocks.

The Titan and the Warlock options are on the low end of the spectrum in terms of useful exotic armor pieces, but the Graviton Forfeit is a solid choice for Nightstalker Hunters. With the helmet, Destiny players can shadowstep for free, which is a useful ability to have in PvP.

Xur’s exotic weapon this week is the Plan C fusion rifle. Once an exotic bounty-specific weapon, Plan C has entered the rotation as a regular exotic and is definitely worth checking out. It’s quick fire rate make it one of the few useful fusion rifles, mostly in PvP.
