We have the early scoop on where to find the vendor Xur and what exotic armor and weapons he has available to Destiny players for the weekend of June 24th.

It’s been an interesting week for Destiny, even as anticipation builds for the upcoming Rise of Iron expansion. See, while the focus has been on the future of Destiny, the current state of the game wasn’t looking too good. Specifically, there were a few nasty issues plaguing players, to the point that Bungie needed to cancel its Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner events.

Thankfully, a patch released on Thursday should clear everything up and in a few hours time Trials of Osiris will return once again. However, if Trials is not live by 10am PT, then something is still wrong with Destiny and Bungie is shaking their heads trying to fix it.

Luckily, any Destiny-related server or damage problems are not stopping our regular visit from Xur, who is back in the Tower once again. The exotic vendor is not immune to glitches and bugs, but for the most part he’s pretty consistent. And this week he’s here.

Destiny players can find Xur in the northern part of the Tower, on the balcony next to The Speaker. After spawning into the Tower, head to the left and follow the pathway all the way to the open area. Xur should be in the far back, next to the balcony overlooking the last city of Earth.

For armor this week, Xur has the Mk. 44 Stand Asides boots for Titans, the Lucky Raspberry chest piece for Hunters, and the Claws of Ahamkara gauntlets for Warlocks. Not particularly great exotic armor pieces for any of their respective classes, but Titans who enjoy shoulder charging from the air may want to pick up the Stand Asides.

However, with the extensive nerfs that have hit the Hunters this month, it’s hard to recommend the Lucky Raspberry to anyone. At one point the exotic was a must have for Hunters in PvP, but that was back when arcbolt grenades were actually useful.

On the weapon side, Xur has the Patience and Time sniper rifle for sale, a choice option for the stealthy players in Destiny’s community. Realistically, though, not many players are going to be hiding in the shadows in Destiny, but if you need an arc element sniper then Patience and Time will get the job done.

For a full rundown of Xur’s items and prices see the list below:

  • Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Titan Boots) – 13 Strange Coins

  • Claws of Ahamkara (Warlock Gauntlets) – 13 Strange Coins

  • Legacy Helmet Engram – 29 Strange Coins
