Destiny: Xur Location and Exotic Items for June 12-14

By | 1 year ago

With only a few days left until E3 2015, Destiny players are anxiously anticipating wait Bungie has in store for their first major expansion. Current rumors have the expansion titled The Taken King and offering the regular bounty of new Destiny content, including that new raid Bungie is reportedly working.

However, while we wait until the Destiny E3 reveal, Xur has once again returned bearing his exotic gifts. So, what does Xur, the Agent of the Nine, have for Destiny players to buy with Strange Coins this week? Read on to find out Xur’s location and exotic selection.

This week Xur can be found in Tower South, in the lounge area past the hangar. Turn right immediately after spawning into the Tower, follow the path down several sets of stairs, and Xur should be hiding in the very back.

Xur’s Exotic Armor & Weapon

Unfortunately, there isn’t much to be happy about with Xur’s selection this week. All three of his exotic armor pieces – the Mk. 44 Stand Asides the Mask of the Third Man, and the Light Beyond Nemesis – are decent for Trials of Osiris, but they aren’t life-changing armor.

Similarly, the Universal Remote is cool in that it is a primary shotgun, but few will get regular use out of it. There are far better shotguns available, and those don’t take up an exotic or a primary slot.

For a full rundown of Xur’s items and prices see the list below:

  • Mk. 44 Stand Asides (Titan DLC Boots) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Mask of the Third Man (Hunter Helmet) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Light Beyond Nemesis (Warlock Helmet) – 13 Strange Coins
  • Universal Remote (Shotgun) – 17 Strange Coins
  • Exotic Shard – 7 Strange Coins
  • Exotic Chest Engram – 23 Motes of Light

Destiny Universal Remote

The good news is that even though Xur is not selling Gjallarhorn for the umpteenth time in a row, Bungie plans to make the final Prison of Elders level 35 boss, Skolas, a little more easier next week. More importantly, they are removing the elemental burn modifier, so those who don’t have Gjallarhorn won’t feel left out.

What do you hope Xur sells next week? Which of the new House of Wolves exotics are you still missing?
