It’s the last weekend before the big Destiny 2 gameplay reveal, which means Bungie and fans are almost set to fully shift into full sequel mode. Granted, in many ways the studio has already done so, but for players there is still a lot left to do in Destiny 1, like collecting every exotic item in the game.

To assist with that goal, Xur has arrived to bring Destiny players the last exotic item he has yet to sell. Yes, it has taken nearly 8 months, but Xur has finally sold that one exotic armor piece that Warlocks had been waiting for.

Xur's Location and Exotic Armor

First up, those looking for Xur can find the Agent of the Nine in the club area in Tower South. After spawning in, head to the right, follow the hallway through the hangar, walk underneath the Future War Cult vendor’s balcony, turn right, and keep going until you reach a back room with couches. Xur will be on the left hand side, partially hidden by a pillar.

ophidian aspect gauntlets

It may be a trek to get to Xur, but for Warlocks the effort is worth it. This week Xur has the Immolation Fists gauntlets for Titans, the Khepri’s Sting gauntlets for Hunters, and the Ophidian Aspect gauntlets for Warlocks. It’s the first time that we can recall Xur selling the Warlock gauntlets, which should make players very happy.

Unfortunately, since the gauntlet's introduction Bungie has made some changes to the Ophidian Aspect, making them less useful. Still, they are not a bad armor piece, especially for PvP. Khepri’s Sting and the Immolation Fists, on the other hand, are decent options, but not great.

Exotic Weapon and Bundles

Xur’s exotic weapon this weekend is the Zhalo Supercell auto rifle, a favorite of the vendor. At one point Zhalo was the only elemental primary in the game that could reach Year 2/3 light levels, but that all changed with Age of Triumph and the revamped versions of the old raids. Still, Zhalo is a very fun gun to use – it literally shoots lightning.
