Destiny: Xur Location and Exotic Items for April 28

Destiny Xur Exotics Taken King

It's been a fairly uneventful week for Destiny players, as the cycle reverts back to phase 1 for Age of Triumph. That means Crota's End is the weekly featured raid and the Daybreak modifier is live again for the Nightfall Strike. Outside of that, though, there isn't much happening in the game.

Where is Xur?

This weekend, Destiny players can find Xur in the northern section of the Tower, next to the big circular door. Xur is actually not that far from his spot last weekend, just a few steps earlier.

To find Xur, head to the left after spawning in, following the long hallway, and look to the right when entering the Speaker's courtyard. Xur will be against the wall, tucked down some small stairs.

Exotic Armor and Weapons

Xur's exotic armor selection this weekend includes the Immolation Fists gauntlets for Titans, the Knucklehead Radar helmet for Hunters, and the Obsidian Mind helmet for Warlocks. Of the three armor pieces, we would recommend the Titan gauntlets and the Warlock helmet for players that are fans of the Crucible.

Destiny Sunbreaker PvE

The Immolation Fists are solid for Sunbreaker Titans because they offer the Explosive Pyre perk for free. Being able to make enemies explode and use the tracking hammers perk can be very useful in larger PvP game modes. Obsidian Mind, on the other hand, is one of the better exotic armor pieces for Voidwalker Warlocks, as the helmet makes getting a Nova Bomb super faster when killing enemies with a Nova Bomb.

The Trespasser sidearm is Xur's exotic weapon this weekend, which should make a few Destiny completionists happy. This is the first weekend that Xur has sold the sidearm, and is likely the last item he hasn't sold that he could sell.

That being said, we're sure some PvP players are not happy to see Trespasser available. Sidearms have become a go-to special weapon option in Trials of Osiris, and many players rely on them more than anything else. Needless to say it will be interesting to see how many Trespassers are used in Trials this weekend.

Exotic Bundles and Recap

And finally, Xur's two exotic weapon bundles this weekend are the Invective shotgun and its Storm's Reproach ornament, and the Telesto fusion rifle and its Lingering Vestige ornament.
