It’s the weekend, which means that Xur, the Agent of the Nine, once again visits Destiny players. Until Sunday morning, Xur will be holed up in the Tower, offering players a selection of exotic wares that includes armor for each class, one weapon, a legacy engram, and the new exotic weapon bundles.

Where is Xur?

This weekend, Destiny players can find Xur in Tower North, right next to The Speaker. It’s only fitting that Xur set up shop next to The Speaker, since the character has been a major part of the Age of Triumph events promotion, and there is some speculation he may not return for Destiny 2. Any opportunity to stop by The Speaker is welcome – especially knowing that The Tower will soon be no more.

To get to Xur, players want to head to the left after spawning into The Tower, then follow the long hallway down a few sets of stairs and out into the open balcony area. Xur should be in the back against the railing.

Exotic Armor and Weapon Sale

For exotic armor pieces, Xur has the Insurmountable Skullfort helmet for Titans, the Shinobu’s Vow gauntlets for Hunters, and the Nothing Manacles gauntlets for Warlocks.

Of the three pieces, only the Titan helmet has not seen some sort of nerf to its utility, but a second melee charge and instant health regeneration isn’t all that useful anyway. These are some of the flashier exotic armor pieces that Xur can sell, though, so if you’re looking for something that makes your character stand out maybe consider picking one of these armor pieces up.

Suros Regime is Xur’s exotic weapon this weekend, an auto rifle that used to be a Destiny favorite. Unfortunately, nerfs upon nerfs to the auto rifle class have made Suros Regime less viable in both PvE and PvP. It can still contend with some weapons, but against the top tier choices like hand cannons and pulse rifles, Suros isn’t going to fare too well.

Xur’s exotic weapon bundle options this week are the Dragon’s Breath Rocket Launcher and its Tigershark ornament, and the Zhalo Supercell auto rifle and its Shock Hazard ornament. Both are cool looks for their respective exotic weapons, but you know our thoughts on the bundles by now. Don’t buy them unless you have plenty of Silver Dust to spare and don’t want to wait around to earn or buy the exotic weapon attached to the bundle.
