Bungie has proven that Destiny is a game that's never quite complete, especially since it is constantly tweaking and updating the title for players. While the majority of the changes have resulted from player feedback and behavior, planned expansions and weekly events have helped to keep the game feeling fresh even among those who feel the game lacks content.

After launching Destiny's first expansion pack, The Dark Below, last December, fans have been itching to get their hands on new content. The silence on this new DLC looks to be coming to an end, however, as the team at Bungie hinted at a few details earlier this week.

In its weekly update, Bungie addressed a number of changes coming to the game including support for colorblindness and slightly reducing the difficulty of Strike bosses. Interestingly enough, the developer also left a few clues in regards to The House of Wolves expansion pack.

While not committing to any specific details or dates in the update, Bungie promised fans that details for the next expansion would be coming very soon and confirmed that players would be receiving the actual release date sometime this month.

"The next expansion for Destiny is something we’re really looking forward to talking about." wrote Deej, Community Manager on Destiny. "This month, there will come a day when we’ll reveal a release date for the trials that await you, with a whole reef of details soon to follow – but it is not this day."

Ever since The Dark Below launched last December, players have not stopped coming up with interesting and sometimes crazy ways to tackle the expansion's end game bosses. From speed runs, world record attempts, to a player actually managing to solo one of the expansion's tougher bosses on hard difficulty, there seems to be an endless supply of creativity that people are tapping into for playing Destiny. It'll be interesting to see what sort of methods players develop to handle the new challenges from the House of Wolves content.

With the House of Wolves expansion expected sometime in May, players have already gotten a sneak peek at some of the content thanks to intrepid explorers in the Ocean of Storms region of the Moon as well as a few screenshot leaks potentially confirming new details. While the wait for this new Destiny DLC has been a bit longer than originally expected, the expansion looks to be bringing a lot of new content with it including a new Awoken storyline for players to complete, new strikes and raids, and a new social space for players to roam around in The Reef area of the game.
