Black Friday is a big shopping day in the United States, so it only makes sense that Destiny 2's exotic merchant Xur is also back within the game world. Unfortunately, the Agent of the Nine doesn't have any big sales or new items once players find him. Still, the year one exotic items do come with customized rolls, making them slightly more appealing than the actual items that dropped prior to the launch of the Forsaken expansion.

This weekend also marks the final week of the current season. Season 5 kicks off alongside The Black Armory content on December 4, following one week of tweaks to the core game similar to how Bungie prepared Destiny 2 prior to the Forsaken expansion. While details are slowly coming out about what players can expect, Bungie has yet to confirm if this update will mark the start of when Xur will be selling Year 2 exotic items since it's expected that this latest update will bring new items and weapons to hunt down like The Icebreaker and The Last Word.

Before season 4 comes to a close, here are all of the items that Xur is selling in Destiny 2 for the weekend of November 23, 2018:

Where is Xur?

This week, Xur can be found inside the European Dead Zone within his usual spot in the Winding Cove.

Fast travel to the Winding Cove and then immediately run towards the back of the zone where the Fallen typically patrol along the higher ground. Xur is hanging out on a ledge, not too far from a downed Fallen ship.

Class Armor

This week, Xur's selection of class armor features two Warmind exotics and a classic year one exotic.

Karnstein Armlets - Warlock gauntlets

One of the better Warlock exotic items available, the Karnstein Armlets essentially gives the player added survivability thanks to its exotic perk. Upon a melee kill, Vampire's Caress restores a large portion of health while also continuing to restore health for a short duration afterwards. With this armor, all Warlock subclasses can experience was Devourlocks are so good at.

This is an item that all Warlocks should have as it's a very strong item in PvE situations and activities like Gambit, Escalation Protocol, or Blind Well where there are large groups of enemies to overcome.

Fixed Gear Rolls:

  • Resilience OR Mobility
  • Fusion Rifle Loader, Hand Cannon Loader, Impact Induction
  • Shotgun Scavenger OR Heavy Ammo Finder

Wormhusk Crown - Hunter helmet

The Wormhusk Crown was once a pinnacle Hunter exotic and a bane of existence for the other classes in the Crucible due to its ability to instantly heal the player during a dodge. Burning Souls still gives a bump to the player's health and shields, but it is no longer given instantly during a dodge. Instead, the buff gives a larger increase of health and shields after a dodge instead of a quick recovery.

However, since this is an item awarded after the Warmind expansion, it's more than likely that most, if not all, Hunters already own this. Because of that and the fact that it has already been nerfed, it's a hard item to recommend this week.

Fixed Gear Rolls:

  • Resilience OR Recovery
  • Bow Targeting, Hand Cannon Targeting, Hands-On
  • Shotgun Scavenger OR Heavy Ammo Finder

Armamentarium - Titan chest armor

This Titan armor piece is a solid addition to anyone's inventory. It's exotic perk And Another Thing gives players one additional grenade charge. Unlike other exotics, this armor is easy to pair with any subclass, though it does shine brighter with specific ones.

A popular tactic with this item is to run suppressor grenades which will grant players double the power to take supers away from their enemies. It's an easy item to recommend considering how valuable two grenades can be even though it may not be the most flashy or exciting item.

Fixed Gear Rolls:

  • Mobility OR Recovery
  • Unflinching Bow Aim, Unflinching Fusion Rifle Aim, Unflinching Sniper Rifle Aim
  • Scout Rifle Reserves OR Special Ammo Finder

Exotic Weapon

Once an unstoppable force in the original Destiny, the SUROS Regime isn't quite the gun it originally was. Introduced inside of the Warmind expansion, it's still a decent option for players especially because it can be customized a bit more than most guns. Its exotic perk SUROS Legacy gives the bottom half of each magazine bonus damage and has a chance to return health on kill. Not only that, but also players can pick from two different fire rates with Spinning Up, which increases the rate of fire the longer the trigger is held and Dual Speed Receiver, which slows the rate of fire when aiming down the sights but increases the weapon damage.

It's certainly worth owning for those without it, but the gun itself can be substituted for something similar like Tigerspite in order to save that exotic weapon slot for a better option like the recently rereleased Thunderlord.

Here's the complete rundown of Xur's entire stock for Nov 23:

  • Wormhusk Crown (Hunter helmet) – 23 Legendary Shards
  • Karnstein Armlets (Warlock gauntlets) – 23 Legendary Shards
