Destiny 2: Xur Location, Exotic Armor, and Weapon for October 20-22

While a lot of the Destiny 2 community is disappointed, Xur has arrive to generate a little excitement by offering some new exotics to players for the weekend of October 20th.

Everyone’s favorite Destiny 2 exotic vendor has returned with a new selection of exotic items to sell to players. While a lot of the community has been swarming with negativity after the launch of the Prestige Raid, perhaps Xur can bring a little excitement in the form of some new exotics.

Location

This week, Destiny 2 players can find Xur on Titan, in the Rig area. Some will remember this as Xur’s Week 2 hiding spot, which is tucked inside a small building along the coastline. It shouldn’t be too hard to find Xur if you target the Agent of the Nine on your map.

Armor

Xur’s exotic armor selection this weekend includes the Raiden Flux chest piece for Hunters, the Doom Fang Pauldron gauntlets for Titans, and the Winter’s Guile gauntlets for Warlocks.

The Hunter chest piece is a great option for players that like to run Arcstrider. As long as players are getting hits with their Arc Staff, the chest piece will slow the Super drain rate, making for a lot of extra damage. The Raiden Flux is especially useful on bosses because players can get extra attacks and stagger the target at the same time.

Beyond looking cool, the Doom Fang Pauldron gauntlets are great for Sentinel Titans who like to use the Shield Throw ability. While the Sentinel’s Super is active, any Shield Bash kill will recharge the Shield Throw faster, meaning players should get between 2 and 3 throws per Super. On top of that, melee ability kills will help charge the Super meter faster.

The Winter’s Guile gauntlets are probably the weakest of the three exotic armor pieces available, but they can still come in handy under the right circumstances. Any time a player gets a melee kill, their melee damage increases, which leads to a lot of melee attacks.

Weapon

For his exotic weapon, Xur is selling the Sweet Business auto rifle. This slick-looking chain gun increases its rate of fire and range the longer the trigger is held, and has increased accuracy when firing from the hip It may not be the strongest, but Sweet Business is certainly a fun weapon to use.
