This week, Destiny 2 fans discovered the path to Truth, a returning exotic rocket launcher that features the ability to aggressively track its target. The gun has proven to be extremely useful, especially for those entering the Menagerie, a unique new mode that has already become a fan favorite.

Part of the appeal is the ability to control the loot that's earned at the end of the experience. Using the Chalice of Opulence and a certain combination of runes and upgrades, players can determine what type of gear they get as a reward. It's a unique aspect to the game and one that appears to be very appealing for players.

Although players can't control what he brings each weekend, Xur is back again inside of Destiny 2 with a new set of exotic items for sale. Here's where players can find Xur, get details on his Invitation of the Nine quest, and discover which exotic items are on offer for the weekend of June 14, 2019.

Where is Xur?

Once more, Xur is back on Nessus riding Emperor Calus' Golden Barge.

season of opulence barge

As was the case last week, fast travel to Watcher's Grave on Nessus. After loading in, the barge will be straight ahead, with it's ramp down near a ledge for guardians to jump off of and inside.

Class Armor

This week, Xur has one of the best Forsaken exotics for Warlocks with him as well as a couple of solid options for everyone else. For those unhappy with this week's selection, there's always the Fated Engram which has a great chance unlock an exotic from the Forsaken expansion.

As was the case last week, the gear on sale features randomized perks. Here are all three gear pieces for this weekend:

Geomag Stabilizers - Warlock boots

The Geomag Stabilizers are back in stock and remain an incredibly valuable exotic for Warlocks using Chaos Reach. The intrinsic perk on this item is called Close Enough which fills the players super meter by running when it’s nearly full. In addition, hitting enemies with Chaos Reach extends the supers duration.

It’s a great exotic item and one that all Chaos Reachers should have in their inventory.

Gear Rolls:

  • Resilience OR Mobility
  • Kinetic Dexterity, Oversize Weapon Dexterity, Dynamo
  • Primary Ammo Finder OR Special Ammo Finder

Knucklehead Radar - Hunter helmet

The Hunter class gets the Knucklehead Radar helmet this week, which really lends itself to PvP modes in the Crucible. Upgraded Sensor Pack is the intrinsic perk which enhances the player’s radar when crouched and keeps it on the screen when aiming down the sights.

Useful is the best term to describe this exotic as it's not the best option out there for Hunters, but it's extremely valuable in the right situations. Knowing where enemies are coming from even when aiming down the sights really comes in handy in competitive PvP modes which makes this helm is worth the asking price for those that don’t already own it.

Gear Rolls:

  • Restorative OR Resilience
  • Ashes to Assets, Precision Weapon Targeting, Light Reactor
  • Grenade Launcher Reserves OR Special Ammo Finder

ACD/0 Feedback Fence - Titan gauntlets

Another solid exotic choice this week is the ACD/0 Feedback Fence gauntlets, which lend themselves well to Titan players who like to punch enemies. Fury Conductors build energy when getting melee kills. Being hit by a melee attack not only reduces incoming damage and unleashes the currently stored energy in an explosion.

Still, it's not going to compare to some of the better Titan exotics currently available but it remains a solid choice especially for those players who enjoy PvP content. Getting punched and causing small explosions is a powerful and fun ability to have.

Fixed Gear Rolls:

  • Restorative OR Resilience
  • Kinetic Weapon Loader, Power Weapon Loader, Fastball
  • Grenade Launcher Scavenger OR Heavy Ammo Finder

Exotic Weapon

A re-purposed Destiny 1 exotic weapon that has seen a spike in popularity for Gambit invaders is finally on sale this weekend. The Queenbreaker is a heavy linear fusion rifle that allows players to pick how they want the gun to fire. Through Marksman sights, players can stack additional damage with long-range sights that also display ammo and charge levels. The tradeoff is that it takes the gun a little longer to fully charge before firing. Combat sights give the player faster charges and greater handling, though they can't zoom in as far.

However, the exotic perk for this weapon is called Wire Rifle which fires a long range precision Arc bolt that blinds enemies on hit. While it remains a popular Gambit weapon for invaders to quickly pick off enemy players, the only downside is that it requires heavy ammo which can be hard to come by. It's likely not going to replace other popular heavy weapons like the recently added Truth rocket launcher, but in specific situations, this weapon shines.

The perks for this weapon this weekend are:

  • Marksman Sights OR Combat Sights
  • Hip-Fire Grip OR Quickdraw
  • Tracker: Kills Or Crucible

Here's the complete rundown of Xur's entire stock in Destiny 2 for June 14:

  • Knucklehead Radar (Hunter helmet) – 23 Legendary Shards
  • ACD/0 Feedback Fence (Titan gauntlets) – 23 Legendary Shards
