Destiny 2's Season of Opulence Vanguard Pinnacle weapon is the Wendigo GL3 Grenade Launcher, which is obtained by completing Zavala's A Gift for the Worthy quest. It requires players to get 500 multi-kills and 1,500 final blows with a grenade launcher, and players also have to accumulate a certain amount of "points" by defeating enemies. Grenade Launcher final blows give the most progress to these points, but death can undo what had been accumulated just before.

Typically, these Pinnacle weapon quests are designed to last the majority of the season, but for those who want this weapon sooner, there is a way to cheese it. Instead of taking roughly the whole season, players can do this Destiny 2 Wendigo GL3 quest in about four hours with the right team, the right strike, and the right weapons. The first step is to gather a Fireteam of friends who want to cheese the Wendigo GL3, and players will want to make sure they have a FULL fireteam.

Once everyone is gathered, they will want to start the Destiny 2 Vanguard Strike playlist and keep resetting until getting the Corrupted in the Dreaming City strike. The reason players want to gather a full fireteam is that they will not want to follow the strike (and any random who did would impede progress on this cheese). Instead, players will want to go to the Blind Well and repeat charges of it until this quest is complete.

Fighting Lion is the ideal weapon for this cheese because it uses primary ammo and each kill drops primary. For the Kinetic and Power slots, players will want a grenade launcher in each to ensure they are getting the required kills. A Warlock is also helpful, as they can use the Forsaken super Well of Radiance with Lunafaction boots to have weapons automatically reload, and each of these will help Destiny 2 players cheese the Wendigo GL3 grenade launcher.

Speaking of, it is a powerful Destiny 2 weapon that can even increase its damage output, thanks to its Exploding Light perk. It buffs the weapon's blast radius and damage every time the player picks up an Orb of Light and also offers the Auto-Loading Holster and Blinding Grenades. It's a beast of a weapon well-worth the 4-hour grind.

Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and will launch in November for Google Stadia.
