Following the release of Destiny 2: Forsaken, Bungie added in the Triumph system as another way to not only add lore back into the game, but give players another thing to chase once the campaign has wrapped up. Seals and Titles can be earned by completing various tasks inside the game, typically requiring that the player really dedicate themselves to the task as most of them are time consuming to unlock. Though once all requirements have been met, players can unlock the seal and earn a special title under their user name to show off what they've earned to other players.

The Destiny 2 title known as Chronicler is one of the more time consuming ones to chase, not due to difficult content or enemies to overcome, but due to the fact that it is entirely time gated similar to the Truth to Power book. The 10 lore books cover all sorts of content from finding hidden Ahamkara bones, dead Ghost shells, performing tasks for the Drifter, meeting with Queen Mara Sov, and much more. However, one of them in particular has a very specific set of rules that may make earning this title that much harder.

Variks the Loyal, which focuses on the House of Judgment Fallen and former Prison of Elders Warden, can't be collected through normal playthroughs like some of the other ones can. Instead of tasking the player with locating hidden items in Destiny 2's world or completing various triumphs, the Most Loyal lore books are only available to collect every seven weeks when the Flashpoint milestone is set to the Tangled Shore.

How To Collect Most Loyal Lore

When the Flashpoint is centered on the Tangle Shore, players have a few different options for obtaining the individual lore books.

Public events, either normal or heroic, are likely the easiest route to obtaining the individual lore books as they're always spawning around the destination and many of them, like the cryo-pod events, can be run through very quickly. Based on player research, Public Events also seemingly have one of the higher drop rates for the lore, making them worth doing.

Lost sectors may also reward lore during the Tangled Shore Flashpoint. While these missions are fairly easy and more relaxed than the other methods to acquire the lore books, they also have the lowest spawn chance. As such, these are not ideal for people who want to maximize their chances and time while playing. For those who still want to pursue this method, the Tangled Shore area may be the fastest farm method as their are two Lost sectors here. Kingship Dock also has a a fast time to clear, so players should aim for that one over the other one, The Empty Tank.

The final method for acquiring the Most Loyal lore books are through Heroic Adventures. These missions also have a higher than normal spawn chance for these individual lore books, but the main issue is that these the most difficult activity in this list and also the most time consuming.

Keep in mind that even though these are the three ways to collect lore from the Variks the Loyal book, performing these tasks does not guarantee that it will drop. Players may need to run the activities multiple times in order to see one drop, it's all random.
