This one is pretty easy to grab, just speak to Banshee-44 in the Tower once acquiring the new season. If a player already spoke to the vendor, then the Messy Business mission should be in the Guardian's quest tab. There are two main assignments to beat this mission and snag Salvager's Salvo. Complete 100% of matches, which refers to strikes, Gambit, and Crucible. Keep in mind, cheesing Nightfall Strike bosses or getting victories can provide additional progress.

Of the two requirements, the second one is going to take Guardians much longer to finish off. To beat Messy Business, players need to also collect 7,500 points which are gathered from defeating enemies during those activities. Doing so with a grenade launcher or just grenades will also boost the speed by offering bonus points. Depending on the activity, racking up these points can take a while, but it will be going up as players perform the first step too.

Therefore, it is important to focus on the best ways to gain points while playing these activities. First things first, head over to the vault and grab a grenade launcher if not already using one. By having one with the breech-loading and barrel-loading perks, getting kills can be a bit easier even with the Shadowkeep grenade launcher nerfs. Also make sure to switch to any gear or mods that lower the Guardian's grenade cooldown, that way players can use those often. For instance, if playing a Warlock try equipping Sunbracers and Attunement of Grace for faster grenade launches and longer duration.

When it comes to the activities available, fans will just have to decide on which mode they like best. Granted, because of how Gambit works in Destiny 2, it can be particularly helpful for Messy Business due to all the enemies. But Nightfall Strikes can award more progress, it is just more difficult to complete these unless playing with a dedicated fireteam. Crucible will be the most difficult since getting kills relies heavily on a player skill and the matchmaker. Stick with these tips to finish the requirements, and then speak to Banshee-44 again after finish the mission to get Salvager's Salvo.
