There's no doubt that plenty of Destiny 2 fans have been determined to keep playing the science fiction shooter in order to find new and interesting ways to take down the various raid bosses throughout the game, with challenge runners being chief among these players. For instance, one run recently saw Clan Redeem players taking on Destiny 2's Morgeth and beating the Last Wish raid boss from across the broken bridge. Now, a couple of Clan Redeem members are at it again, but this time as a two person team to consecutively beat every 2-mannable raid boss without dying.

The pair of Guardians who decided to take on this task consisted of the Clan Redeem members known as "Gladd" and "Chevy", with this "2 Man Marathon Challenge" requiring both of them to beat every raid boss that could be defeated with a duo squad in Destiny 2. On top of the already difficult task of defeating each of these big baddies as just a two-person crew, they also set self-imposed limitations of each boss needing to be beaten back-to-back without any wipes or restarts.

So, should Gladd or Chevy have failed at any point in this process to defeat every raid boss, they had to start all the way back at the very first boss in the rotation. According to Gladd, he and Chevy have put in a lot of time together 2-manning Destiny 2 bosses with one another, resulting in a "decent amount of experience" as a team. Ultimately, though, it took them around three days' worth of attempts in order to successfully pull off this specific challenge.

As explained by Gladd, the first day of preparing for the challenge was dedicated to figuring out the best strategies to beat Morgeth, Riven, Insurrection Prime, and Dogs. Apparently, Kalli, Calus, and Argos were "extremely easy bosses" for him and Chevy to take on, so they didn't require practice. The final two days were focused on legitimately attempting successful runs.

Frustratingly enough, during the final run against the very last boss, Argos, Gladd's copy of Destiny 2 froze and shut down, so he had to hit ALT + F4 and reboot the game while Chevy completed a solo break and did solo damage. Eventually, though, Gladd got right back in to action shortly thereafter and the two came out on top to best this arduous challenge.

All things considered, Gladd and Chevy should certainly be commended for their successful attempt at 2-manning the Destiny 2 raid bosses in the video above. With such commitment to the game, it's no wonder why Bungie invites dedicated players like the two Clan Redeem members to its Destiny 2 Community Summit events.

Destiny 2 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
