Destiny 2 is renowned to be one of the best games to play for those who like uncovering secrets and working their way through puzzles, which is something that is often tied to Raids and their areas. Raids like The Last Wish are the perfect example of this logic, with Bungie adding a plethora of side content and secret patterns for the Wall of Wishes, which made its release one of the most iconic in the franchise. Secrets are not only tied to Destiny 2's Raids, however, and last Season players discovered strange Vex structures on the soon-to-be-vaulted Tangled Shore, which were then removed.

More recently, a Destiny 2 player walked into the Niobe Labs area, wondering what it was and why it was empty - which does make sense, considering the player hadn't been around when Black Armory launched. The world of Destiny 2 is filled with places like this, and it can be exciting but also confusing when players first run into them, especially because it's hard to determine what is actually a secret and what is a relic of the past or something that hasn't find purpose just yet.

Still, a Reddit user by the name of xKev98_ found a strange area within the Tower, which is located in the Annex, where Drifter and Ada-1 currently reside. This tiny space is only accessible through a series of jumps, and it was discovered by the Redditor when playing hide and seek with friends in the area, but the place itself has probably been there since the Annex was introduced. According to other players, the area is Drifter's secret garage, even though it has never had relevance within the story nor for gameplay purposes.

The origins of this place are uncertain, especially due to the fact that Drifter's residence in the Tower was near Ikora back when Forsaken launched, and the Annex was added much later. Thus, despite the fact that the area found by xKev98_ is indeed hidden away in the Tower, it doesn't seem to be of any use for the time being. However, since Destiny 2's Season of the Lost seems to hint at the possibility of Spider dying or being smuggled into the Last City by Drifter, this secret garage could make an appearance.

As for the other residents of the Tower, there doesn't seem to be any purpose for the spaces reserved for Dead Orbit and Future War Cult at the moment, after the events of Season of the Splicer. Still, last Season was likely instrumental in making Destiny 2 players vote Saint-14 as their favorite character in the game, thanks to his beautiful narrative arc.

Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
