Destiny 2 has some questionable drinks in the game, with some tasks requiring Guardians to drink a Tincture of Queensfoil to open their eyes to another plane of existence. The Fallen in Destiny 2 consume Ether, and the Vex have milk-like fluid dubbed Vex Milk, which holds their collective consciousness.
Many Destiny Guardians would rather enjoy a bowl of Spicy Ramen than indulge in some of the weirder dietary practices like The Drifter. However, one creative individual has taken the liberty of creating three cocktails themed after Vex Milk, Tincture of Queensfoil, and Cloud of Ether.
Greg, from How To Drink on YouTube, has taken his creative talents in mixology to develop three Destiny-themed cocktails: Vex Milk, Tincture of Queensfoil, and Cloud of Ether. Fortunately for Guardians, these drinks do not include actual Vex Milk and can be enjoyed without having to ingest any obscure space alien tinctures or ether.
To create Vex Milk, Greg combines Ricard Pastis - a licorice-flavored spirit - Baileys Irish Cream, and 4 dashes of saline solution to create a milky cocktail with a hint of chocolate and licorice. Unlike traditional Vex Milk in Destiny, Guardians will not have to worry about being assimilated to the Vex when drinking this Vex Milk cocktail.
The Tincture of Queensfoil has a tough look to achieve with its swirls of Darkness suspended in a blue liquid. Greg, however, makes it happen with a mixture of simple syrup, a Xanthan Gum mix, Blue Curaçao, Italicus Bergamot Liquor, Absolut Citron, and Aviation Gin. These ingredients make the blue base of the drink while hard dashes of Angostura bitters help add the swirls of Darkness that finish the look of the Tincture of Queensfoil.
This Tincture of Queensfoil may not show Guardians the path to the Ascendant Plane in the Dreaming City, it does have a lemon flavor paired with the flavor profile of the Gin. The bitters help to add a cinnamon/root beer flavor profile into the drink that pairs very well with the rest of the drink.
The last drink, Cloud of Ether, is possibly the most unique of the three drinks with its foamy appearance. While this Ether is not made from a Fallen Servitor, it may just be the next best thing. Greg uses lemon juice, simple syrup, Crème de Violette, Maraschino Liquor, Aviation Gin, and an egg white. After shaking the ingredients, Greg uses Foam Magic to turn the drink into a light and cloudy foam. Topping it off with Club Soda finishes the drink.
Guardians looking for some fun and unique cocktails may enjoy one of these Destiny-themed drinks on their next night of playing the Deep Stone Crypt raid, or while sliding around the Crucible. Greg from How To Drink has also made other game-themed drinks that gamers may find entertaining.
