There is a brand new and exclusive shader and emblem in Destiny 2 that is linked to Twitch streamers. Here's how to get them.

This isn't the first time Bungie has offered loot through Twitch or included rewards as an incentive for donations. This time around, players will need to gift subs on Twitch to get exclusive memorabilia.

Firstly, a Twitch and Bungie.net account is needed for this to work. If players have both, they can go to their Bungie.net settings and link their Twitch account to it, as well as the account they use on the platform that they play Destiny 2 on (PS, Xbox etc.), if they haven't done that before. If they have received Twitch Prime loot for Destiny 2 in the past, they've done this bit already.

Next, they need to find a Twitch streamer that is live and has the Destiny 2 Extension enabled, which show handy information like the streamer's current loadout. Viewers can check this by looking for a tab with the Destiny 2 icon on the right or left side of the screen. After pulling open the tab, and going to Viewer Bounties, players can see all rewards available to them. They may need to click "Grant Permission" to view and enable said bounties. This will give Bungie access to players' Twitch ID so that their loot can be delivered to them.

Then, they can go to the subscribe button underneath the video player and choose to gift a Tier 1 subscription, which costs $5. A total of two subscription gifts is required to complete the bounty and setting the custom quantity to two is the fastest way to do so. Players should avoid gifting subs anonymously as this will not progress the bounty. Each of the gifts will go to random viewers who will be able to use the benefits of a subscriber, such as emotes and sub-only mode, for one month.

In case anyone is wondering, the streamer will receive the half of the money from from subscriptions, the other half going to Twitch itself. Alongside a unique shader and an emblem, players will also receive resources like Glimmer and Enhancement Prisms as part of the bounty. Smaller channels have a lot more to gain from this event so it is recommended players consider gifting subs on lesser known content creators.

Players must make sure to claim their goodies from Amanda Holliday at the Tower Hangar before the next weekly reset as they will expire afterwards.

Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
