Developer Bungie will kick off a new set of official streams in November for Destiny 2, just a month ahead of when fans are expecting Season 2 and the game's first major expansion. Both of those topics are likely to be the focus of those streams.

Bungie has a history of hosting three reveal streams leading up to a new content drop, and it looks to be continuing that formula for Destiny 2. Bungie's official reveal streams began with the lead up to Destiny 1's House of Wolves expansion, where each stream introduced a new major piece of content coming with the expansion; those being the Reef social space, Prison of Elders arena mode, and Trials of Osiris. That tradition followed through Destiny 1's lifespan all the way through Rise of Iron.

During TwitchCon, Bungie dove into more details about Destiny 2's seasons and what fans can expect from Season 2 coming in December. Not only will Season 2 make significant changes to how Iron Banner works, it will also add new Iron Banner and Trials of the Nine gear, a refreshed Bright Engram inventory, and The Dawning live event will debut soon after the start of the season. This will likely get some more preview time on Bungie's upcoming streams, but may actually be less noteworthy than what is expected to be these streams' main focus.

That main focus will probably be Curse of Osiris, the first major expansion coming in Destiny 2's first year. With a leaked release date of December 5, Expansion 1 is approaching rather quickly and the month of November is the perfect time for Bungie to reveal more about what is coming in the game's first piece of major DLC, especially amidst players' criticism that Destiny 2 is severely lacking longevity in its endgame.

Curse of Osiris is expected to bring a new patrol area on Mercury, add the Lighthouse as a social space, and new PvE content. Story-wise, hints in-game and online have suggested that players will be trying to bring Osiris out of a Time Loop, which could turn him into a vendor when all is said and done.

Expect more details in the coming month, as Bungie puts on these reveal streams.

Destiny 2 is available now for PS4 and Xbox One, and releases on October 24, 2017 for PC.
