Because Destiny 2 is a game with a lot of different game modes and several options to choose from when it comes to builds and specific gear pieces, there is not a single combination that's always the best at tackling every situation that may arise. This is particularly true with endgame activities, where varying is often necessary for the sake of completing a specific Raid or Grandmaster Nightfall without too much of a hassle, or even in those pesky Trials of Osiris matches, where changing build on the fly can save a game.

Destiny 2 players might argue that balancing builds and combinations in PvP is even harder than it is in PvE, simply because the enemy always changes and it's not programmed, but rather another person playing the game. As such, it's useful to strategize in the Crucible, maybe adjusting one's playstyle to overcome a tough opponent in creative ways. Another aspect of it is to find good counters to some of the most disruptive builds and abilities there are, while also trying to stay alive and possibly keep teammates alive as well.

This is precisely what a Reddit user by the name of keklordalmighty does in a short clip shared on the platform, where they are playing a 6v6 PvP match and three of their teammates are about to be defeated by a Stasis Hunter's Super. Stasis Hunters have one of the most annoying Supers in the game when it comes to PvP, and seeing how keklordalmighty managed to stop it from killing anyone on the team by popping a Sentinel bubble was very well received by the community. While the original post itself is about Destiny 2's top tree Sentinels being able to save allies from certain death with their Super, this also goes to show how powerful of a counter the bubble is against Stasis Hunters.

This also makes sense because of how the Sentinel bubble can be countered by other Supers as well, like the Stormcaller Warlocks' bottom tree Landfall, which can kill the Titan using the bubble if cast upon it. Still, the Stasis Hunters' Silence and Squall is a very popular Super in all PvP modes, and especially so in Trials of Osiris because of its one-hit-KO potential with the first hit and the crowd control with the tornado.

As such, those Destiny 2 players who struggle against Stasis Hunters' Supers and Shatterdive, should outplay them by using a Sentinel's shield and become pretty much immortal for a short while. This also makes top tree Sentinel even more desirable than the currently bugged Code of the Commander, which can be countered much more easily in PvP.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
