The next major expansion for Destiny 2, Shadowkeep, is right around the corner. It sees players return to the Moon, a location that hasn't been visited since the original Destiny, and will include a reunion with Eris Morn. To celebrate, Bungie has included some exclusive Eris Morn-themed items that can only be obtained by those who pick up the Digital Deluxe version of the Shadowkeep expansion.

Destiny 2 players who purchase the Shadowkeep Digital Deluxe edition will get a total of three Eris Morn-themed items. This includes the "Hearing Whispers" exotic emote, an Eris Morn exotic Ghost shell, and the "Benighted Omen" emblem. Additionally, those who pre-order will get the Twin-Tailed Fox weapon and the Chasing Kitsune ornament.

This combined with the other bonuses may very well make it worth the price of admission for fans of Bungie's first-person shooter/RPG hybrid. Those who have yet to try out Destiny 2 but are thinking about jumping in with Shadowkeep, it should be noted that the expansion includes the base game in addition to the Warmind and Curse of Osiris expansions.

The Shadowkeep expansion is shaping up to be one of Destiny 2's most important ones yet. It's the first major expansion to drop since Bungie's split from Activision, and it is introducing some significant changes to the looter-shooter. Besides adding the Moon as a new location for Destiny 2 players to explore, it is also introduction the new Armor 2.0 system, and it will make it easier than ever for new players to check out the new content right away. That's because the Destiny 2 Shadowkeep expansion will instantly level players to 750 power.

Overall, the Destiny 2 Shadowkeep expansion looks like it's doing a lot to appeal to not only longtime fans of the franchise, but newcomers as well. Whether or not the bonus content is worth picking up the Digital Deluxe edition is up for everyone to decide for themselves, but it's definitely compelling for those who plan to sink a ton of hours into Shadowkeep.

Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
