In the penultimate week of seasonal challenges for Season of the Splicer, Destiny 2 players have only five new challenges to complete. Players need to get kills with weapons of all the different elemental energy and ammo types.

Players may also need to head back into the Eliksni Quarter in the Last City to make sure they have listened to all the lore recordings left by the Eliksni Scribe. This week in Destiny 2 also sees the return of Solstice of Heroes and the arrival of Master difficulty mode for the Vault of Glass Raid.

Here are the five seasonal challenges for week nine of Season of the Splicer in Destiny 2:

Elemental Armaments

To complete this challenge, Destiny 2 players need to get kills with weapons of each elemental energy type. This means players will need to get kills with Arc, Solar, and Void weapons found in their energy and heavy weapon slots. Kills with Stasis weapons, such as the Exotic Cryosthesia Sidearm, will contribute to Void kills for this challenge.

Players can earn bonus progress for this challenge by defeating Guardians and enemies in Override or Expunge missions.

Path of the Scribe

For this challenge, Destiny 2 players need to listen to all nine audio recordings left by Eido, the Eliksni Scribe, in the Eliksni Quarter of the Last City. Players can access this location at any time by selecting the appropriate destination node on the HELM map.

Eliksni Ally III

Destiny 2 players need to increase their reputation level with the Splicer Servitor in the HELM to level 30 to complete this challenge. Reputation is increased simply by earning Decrypted Data from chests in Override and Corrupted Expunge missions. Decrypted Data can then be spent on Splicer Gauntlet upgrades and Umbral Engram focusing.

Armory-Wide Calibration

For this challenge, Destiny 2 players need to defeat enemies using weapons of each ammo type, which are primary, special, and heavy ammo. To complete this challenge quickly, players need to make sure they are not running a double primary loadout and have Ammo Finder and Scavenger Armor Mods equipped for the weapon types that they are using. Bonus progress is earned by defeating Champions.

Elemental Splicing

Destiny 2 players need to complete two Strikes with each Subclass element to complete this challenge. Strikes completed using a Stasis Subclass will contribute to the Solar Subclass Strike completions, so players only need to do six Strikes in total.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light and the new Season of the Splicer are available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
