Here are the god rolls for every new gun released in Destiny 2: Season of the Haunted.

What is the God Roll for Firefright?

Firefright is a 450 RPM Kinetic Auto Rifle. Auto rifles haven’t had the best history in terms of being good weapons for both PvE and PvP alike. Firefright’s 450 RPM doesn’t help it out much either in terms of it being on the slower rates of fire. That being said, it can roll with some pretty interesting perks.

Firefright Gun Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted

Threat Detector + Surrounded/ Adagio: This is a roll if you want to use this Auto Rifle like a Submachine Gun. Threat Detector gives reload speed while near enemies and Surrounded gives damage. Pretty simple combo. Adagio can also be a pretty nice damage increase for this weapon, but considering its already slow fire rate might make the gun feel a tad sluggish.

Fourth Times The Charm + Focused Fury: If players are sharpshooters and can land a bunch of precision hits in a row, this can yield some fantastic results. Fourth Times The Charm giving more magazine size and Focused Fury granting damage. This is a nice roll if players can control the recoil of the gun and hit precision hits consecutively.

What is the God Roll for Tears of Contrition?

Tears of Contrition is a 180 RPM Kinetic Scout Rifle. Scouts have had their place in higher-end content all throughout Destiny 2’s lifespan with Grandmasters being a favorite. This particular Scout Rifle could definitely see use due to some of its fantastic perks.

Triple Tap + Fourth Times The Charm: This roll basically guarantees infinite ammo, no reloading necessary. While nice for some situations, Scouts aren’t known for their damage, so you might be lacking a bit while running this roll.

Triple Tap + Explosive Payload: Another fantastic roll involving Triple Tap which is always going to be good on a Scout. Explosive Payload in the second column also contributes to making this roll a great all-rounder, with damage and a healthy-sized magazine.

What is the God Roll for Without Remorse?

Without Remorse is an 80 RPM Solar Shotgun. Shotguns have always been a part of both the PvE and PvP meta. With fantastic shotguns like Heritage for PvE and Felwinter’s Lie for PvP, Without Remorse has some tough competition to go up against. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have the best perk combination.

Without Remorse Gun Season of The Haunted

Threat Detector + One Two Punch/ Vorpal: This is a no-brainer, shotguns will always be close range and are fantastic for big damage against big targets. Threat Detector for reload speed, One Two Punch/ Vorpal for damage, simple.

What is the God Roll for Nezarec’s Whisper?

Nezarec’s Whisper is a 55 RPM Arc Glaive. Glaives are, in all honesty not the best weapon archetype. They struggle to find use in both PvP and PvE situations and are more so seen as a novelty weapon. They’re fun to use at times, but it’s unlikely you’ll chase a Glaive and its god roll.

Nezarec's Whisper Glaive Destiny 2

Impulse Amplifier + Vorpal Weapon: This roll is once again one of the classics, bonus damage from Vorpal with reload + projectile speed from Impulse Amplifier.

Demolitionist + Adrenaline Junkie: The classic combo which specializes in grenades. Demolitionist allows players to reload on a grenade toss and grenade final blows amp the weapon's damage up via Adrenaline Junkie.

What is the God Roll for Hollow Denial?

Hollow Denial is a 1000 RPM Void Trace Rifle. Trace rifles aren’t used much in Destiny as they’re seen as more of a novelty weapon that's fun to use at times. That being said, Hollow Words has some absolutely fantastic perks that it can roll with, making it easily one of the best Trace rifles out there.

Adaptive Munitions + Killing Tally: This roll is pretty good for general usage. Adaptive Munitions is fantastic for late-game content where shields can be basically immortal. Killing Tally is all around just a pretty decent perk that has finally returned after the first iteration was vaulted on 21% Delirium.

What is the God Roll for Bump In The Night?

Bump In The Night is a 25 RPM Stasis Rocket Launcher. Rocket launchers have had their time being the DPS king with the likes of Gjallarhorn existing. Nowadays, rocket launchers may not be as powerful as before, but they sure pack a punch and are useful in a variety of situations.

Bump In The Night Rocket Launcher

Autoloading Holster/ Demolitionist + Vorpal Weapon: This is probably the best roll you can get versus bosses Autoloading/ Demolitionist for fast reloads to keep up constant DPS and Vorpal for that bonus damage against bosses.

Field Prep/ Autoloading Holster + Frenzy: This is a roll for general use, it’ll find more usage than the Vorpal weapon as Frenzy is easier to proc. It won’t do as well against bosses though, but players definitely still get some decent damage in with Frenzy and Field Prep for the reload speed.

Overall there are some pretty decent weapons available this season in Destiny 2. Not all of them are top of the line, but there are definitely some game-changers with the addition of new perks and Solar 3.0. It'll take a bit of time to see where these weapons find use and how they stack up against the competition.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia.
