The storyline in Season 18 of Destiny 2 took an intense turn last week, and in Week 6, the heat gets turned up once again. Previous weeks made it clear that someone else was after the relics, and their identity is finally revealed in Week 6.

Destiny 2 players who want to find out who this third party is on their own may want to turn back now, as there will be spoilers up ahead. The routine for this week's set of quests is unchanged, but this guide will show players what they need to do to complete this week's chapter of Sails of the Shipstealer.

Use the Star Chart at the H.E.L.M.

As with every week, Destiny 2 players will first need to use the Star Chart to get a transmission from Drifter. He will summarize what happened in the previous week, while reflecting on his experience with relics similar to the ones that Destiny 2 players have been gathering since the Season started. After he's finished talking, Destiny 2 players get the next step in the Quest.

Expeditions and Ketchcrash Completions

For the next step, Destiny 2 players will need to complete an Expedition and loot the buried chest at the end. As usual, this will require players to have enough Map Fragments and Treasure Coordinates to restore a map. Completing Ketchcrash and Core Playlist Activities like Crucible, Gambit, and Strikes is how players will get those two resources for restoring maps.

The next step is to complete five Ketchcrash activities. Completing one on Master Difficulty will grant further progress. However, if players do not wish to engage in Master Ketchcrash since it has no matchmaking, they can complete five regular Ketchcrash activities instead. While it does take a bit of time to complete five regular matches of Ketchcrash, this step is nothing compared to last week that required 50 Champions. Once both steps in the Quest are completed, the next one will unlock.

Pirate Hideout: The Coward

As ever in Sails of the Shipstealer, the next step after seasonal activities is to go to a Pirate Hideout and kill the Pirate Lord that is in charge of it. As players arrive, Spider will inform them that he has intelligence suggesting that the third party hunting the relics may also have come looking. Not long into this mission, players will soon discover who this third party is: the Lucent Hive.

Upon reaching the end of the Pirate Hideout, players will discover that the Pirate Lord has been killed by a Lightbearing Hive Wizard known as Ei Arat. This boss fight plays out like any other fight against a Lightbearing Hive in the Witch Queen Campaign. As long as players avoid her Super and destroy her Ghost, they will have no trouble overcoming this foe. After which, players will need to make sure to loot the Relic of Nezarec that is sitting among the pile of treasure.

Return to the Eliksni Quarter

Once the player arrives in the Eliksni Quarter, they should go toward Drifter and Eido to witness a conversation between the two of them. Once they are done having their chat, the Quest will advance to the next step. Players need to use the Holoprojector outside the Ether Tank. There, players will get a message from Mithrax. After he is done talking, the player will get the next step, which is to go speak with Spider inside the Ether Tank.

Spider was able to cheat the player in earlier weeks, but now that Eido is onto Spider's tricks players will get a guaranteed Red Border weapon from the Engram, much to Spider's annoyance. At that point, the Quest will advance to the next step and the player will have to wait until next week to see what happens next.

As ever, players should make sure to listen to the radio message at the terminal next to the Holoprojector and turn in the Relic of Nezarec at the H.E.L.M. to get some additional story.

Destiny 2 is now available for Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
