For the forthcoming release of Destiny 2's Season of Opulence, developer Bungie has revealed a few details in the days prior. One of the biggest reveals is the new Destiny 2 Menagerie activity, which is a 6-player dive into the Leviathan, as players attempt to discover more secrets of Calus, the former emperor of the Cabal Empire. Beyond that, though, there's plenty of more content also coming to the Sci-fi first-person shooter title such as the new raid and plenty of new weapons and armor.

Concerning the latter, images associated with the new weapons and armor for Destiny 2's Season of Opulence have been made available online, and while not every single piece has been positively identified as one thing or another, there are a few pieces that have the community talking. Namely, it appears that the Truth, an exotic rocket launcher from Destiny year one, is returning.

Many are also claiming one of the hand cannons to be Rose, but there is some debate there. Other notable Season of Opulence armor and weapon mentions include Crownsplitter, Khepri's Sting, Drang, and Mini-Tool (as seen below). For now, players will have to wait for Destiny 2 developer Bungie to reveal more about the forthcoming season to discover what items remain. That's not to say that this is all the developer has gifted its player base, though.

The Destiny 2 Season of Opulence pinnacle weapons have also been revealed, so players will know what to be hunting for when the season begins. The Crucible pinnacle weapon is the Revoker, a powerful sniper rifle, and the Vanguard pinnacle weapon is a grenade launcher called the Windgo GL3. For the Gambit pinnacle weapon, players will be unlocking a new bow known as Hush.

More will likely be revealed as the Season of Opulence draws closer, but those still working on the current seasons' worth of content will want to hurry. Destiny 2's season 7 officially begins June 4, giving players less than a week to complete everything before Season of the Drifter ends.

Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
