Tomorrow starts a new season for Destiny 2, and the promise of new rankings, new weapon sets, and new items to chase. On top of that, Season 5 will introduce three new pinnacle weapons into the fold, one each for Crucible, Gambit, and Strikes.

While Bungie had previously detailed those three pinnacle weapons in text form, today the Destiny 2 developer gave fans a live look at each in action. And while some may not have been sold on the strength or the viability of these new weapons, seeing them in video is pretty convincing.

Up first is Loaded Question, a fusion rifle that will be available as the Strike pinnacle weapon for Season 5. Traditionally fusion rifles don’t get a lot of love in PvE in Destiny 2, but this one may have its share of fans thanks to a perk that makes enemies explode on kill. Essentially, Loaded Question has a version of the Dragonfly perk, but the explosion looks to be a little bigger.

Crucible fans will have The Mountain to chase, a kinetic grenade launcher that fires its projectile with no arc and deadly accuracy. PvP players were already concerned that this could be a really strong weapon and the clip Bungie showed reinforced that. Mountain can make quick work of groups of enemies, provided players have the ammo for it.

And finally, Breakneck is an auto rifle that will be the Gambit pinnacle weapon for Season 5. Breakneck features the popular Rampage perk that buffs damage after a kill, but its complementary perk stacks fire rate with Rampage stacks. So the more kills the player gets (up to 3 stacks of Rampage), the faster the gun fires, and thus gets more kills.

In the below video, Bungie shows how the weapon can devastate a group of enemies when paired with a Titan’s rally barricade.

No doubt Bungie made a strong case for each of these Destiny 2 pinnacle weapons by showing them in peak situations. Whether they will replace our favorite Destiny 2 weapons, or be on par with the likes of Luna's Howl, is yet to be determined but at the very least, they all three seem to be worth the involved quests.
